Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” accused Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett of lying to Congress after the Dobbs decision.
Whitmer said, “I think we all know the truth here. There’s no question that with the three appointments that Donald Trump put onto our United States Supreme Court, three people who lied to Congress, betrayed their oath of office and put forward the Dobbs decision.”

Whitmer claims they broke their promise, but I don’t think they promised. Judges know doing so would be asking for trouble.

Like two days ago, Biden said that Trump is trying to undermine the “rule of law” by criticizing his NY Verdict. He said it was dangerous.
Not long ago they urged assassins to visit the heads of Republicans on SCOTUS.
And Joe admitted he was questioning the legitimacy of the SCOTUS, so they would change their rulings going forward. They believed John Roberts was vulnerable to that line of derision.

Who GAGS what Whitmer says, anyway. I don’t think she has standing to sue anyone, and Congress is not going to do an impeachment, even if she has a Herman Munster/Bernadette Wolowitz tantrum.

As far as being a grifter, 100% agree. But aren’t all the deep state folks grifters? Pelisu, Biden, etc. I suppose some of them are simply ideologues who just want to destroy the country, but they don’t mind getting rich in the process.
Good point regarding Whitmer not getting a deep state job next term. But one thing we have learned from these folks that is that they are patient. She will wait for her gravy train.
Maybe Whitmer and Hillary are having a contest to see who can say the most outrageous things, in case the party decides they do need to replace Biden at the head of the ticket.

Europeans are socialists but at the same time they're more reasonable with some things. Like you said, their abortion policy. And I like their policy on the internet, Meta can't just data mine without asking for permission. And the EU cannot use the Euro as the reserve currency so they're not able to inflate it as much.
