Michael Cohen apparently wants a reality show but, if his testimony Monday is any indication, reality is about to sink in for not just Cohen but the prosecutors and the court.
In stoking interest in his own appearance, the former Trump counsel promised the public that they should be “prepared to be surprised.”
Thus far, however, Cohen has offered nothing new and, more importantly, nothing to make the case for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The trial is just a show, but it’s just a stage with players that are pretending that, a jury found Trump guilty of something. IOW, Trump was judged to be guilty, via a trial, even if the proof was not there.

IIRC, there’s two attorneys on the jury and an engineer. The attorneys must be going nuts with Cohen recording Trump AT A CRITICAL POINT which is being heard in court. And...more likely than not...they know when Cohen is lying....that is a skill that many attorneys develop.
I think the directed verdict is not really throwing the case out but instead adjudicating the case to an acquittal. if that is how the judge would rule. You don’t really want a mistrial as it could just start all over. An acquittal eliminates the case and Trump cannot be tried again. mistrial can provide for another trial on the same charges.

I’m sure they got it covered. They wanted to be on this jury. It’s pretty hard to get out of jury duty in NYS. It wasn’t always.
