Boy Scouts take final woke step, announce incredible name change

In what is being viewed by many as a final plunge into wokeness, the Boy Scouts of America has announced a name change.

No longer will the name include "Boys."

It will be just "Scouting America." Effective next year.

USA Today reported the organization said its goal is to be more "inclusive."

Not everything. If anyone is looking for a Christ based program for their boys (yes ONLY boys) I encourage you to look into "Trail Life USA". This is a available in all 50 states.

My late Dad was a leader for over 20 years of sons. I only did it for 5. When the home place burned a couple of the firefighters wanted to go back in the woods and see the "Scout Tree" that was part of the confidence course starting with Webelos. Back then only mothers were Den Mothers and dads took over when boys went into Webelos. There was a reason for that and it was a very good and right one.

He is right, it isn't accidental.

It is not so easy now for me to change but more than that, I refuse to because so much change is just wrong now.

..... I could have sworn that there was also something called the "Girl" Scouts of America ..... Of course I could be wrong .... But would they be absorbed into the new "Scouting America" Group? ..... In any case ....... They just signaled the end of scouting in America

To put it in context: The Girl Scouts organization have been publicly furious at the Boy Scouts' recent campaign to recruit girls into the Boy Scouts, and is suing them over it.

The Girl Scouts suggested (and I'll bet they'd know, since their organization is part of the same overall scouting organization called Boy Scouts of America) that the Boy Scouts organization itself is desperate to recruit anything that moves, whether it's boys, girls, or queers. They say it's because the number of actual boys joining the Scouts has been tanking for a decade--ever since parents started to see all the news stories about queer scoutmasters going after Boy Scouts in their tents.

It sounds as if BSA itself has become a criminal organization at the topmost, invisible levels, and needs to be taken down--so real scouting can safely take its place.
