Kate, Princess of Wales, has revealed she has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing preventative chemotherapy. In a personal message, the 42-year-old said planned abdominal surgery in January was successful and it was initially thought her condition was non-cancerous. But tests after the operation found cancer had been present, she said, adding: "This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family."

Very very well said.
I know some many people, especially people Kate’s age who have gotten cancer or had recurring of cancers that had been “cured”/in remission in the last few years. So very sad.
She is wearing it in the announcement video
The evil curse, like the vaccine, is very profitable. There will be no cure.
That’s sad news. I’ll pray that she beats it.
Her hand may have been swollen in the previous photo so it was ‘photoshopped’ out..............
I think her main concern is probably her children, and having time enough at least to help them grow.
What a nice sentiment.
Sheesh. This is an international forum. There are people all over the world that post here including A friend of King Charles.
My condolences. I lost my mother in 2005 at age 65 to it.
I turn 65 this year.
Prayers for Kate. If they caught it early, there is indeed hope.
The idea that there will be ‘A’ cure for cancer is mistaken. It is not one disease, each type must be managed differently.
And again, there has been a great deal of progress.
Either that or Prince William came clean about his “affair” with her best friend Rose!!
I think that’s all she can and must do, while taking the best treatment to prolong her life for them. What a terrifying position to find oneself in and how to meet the need of being brave for their kids in the face of it.
Yes, parents who get cancer when they have minor children are especially distressed. And in her case, it is a worry about Diana Part 2 of a motherless future King and siblings which is an added stressor.
What a mess for that family. Harry and Meghan need to shut up.
My guess is Kate had some female surgery (painful cysts? hysterectomy?) and the cancer they found is early stage and incidental to the surgery. She is unlikely to die from the cancer unless the treatment kills her, which the doctors will then call “complications”.
Of course I am just guessing.
I will pray for her and her family.
Swelling of the hands is one side effect of Radiation and Chemo......................
So nice to have that excuse. You must have been beside yourself from 2020 and before wondering what excuse to conjure up when people had health issues or perhaps, in your mind nobody got sick until 2020.
