The World Economic Forum (WEF) is calling on governments to ban the general public from growing their own food at home by arguing that they are causing “climate change.”
According to so-called “experts” behind a recent WEF study, researchers apparently discovered that the “carbon footprint” of home-grown food is “destroying the planet.”
As a result, the WEF and other globalist climate zealots are now demanding that governments intervene and ban individuals from growing their own food in order to “save the planet” from “global warming.”
The research indicated that resorting to garden-to-table produce causes a far greater carbon footprint than conventional agricultural practices, such as rural farms.
This research, conducted by WEF-funded scientists at the University of Michigan, was published in the journal Nature Cities.
The study looked at different types of urban farms to see how much carbon dioxide (CO2) was produced when growing food.
On average, a serving of food made from traditional farms creates 0.07 kilogram (kg) of CO2, according to the study.
However, the WEF-funded researchers claim that the impact on the environment is almost five times higher at 0.34kg per portion for individual city gardens.

I agree .357%.
I saw the studies that beat-up the backyard gardens’ carbon footprint.
Maybe they’re junk science. Maybe they aren’t.
That’s not the issue.
The issue is that Slay News manufactured a sensational headline that makes Our Side look gullible.
And, unfortunately, it seems some are.
Save.
Otherwise, these elites can GFT.
How many billion dollars is the home gardening industry?
How many jobs, careers and businesses big and small?
Good luck attacking that!
As for my home garden ... garden pests get buckshot.
Yeah, I saw that study. They compared apples to road-apples.
Traditional farms, they calculated somewhat reasonably. Home gardens, however... they added in the carbon footprint of a house, a car, and so on.
So, in other words, they are lying. Again.
FWEF anyone?

“FWEF” ???
U.S. ConstitutionArticle 1. The Congress shall construct a thermostat to control the temperature of planet earth.
Article 2. Every hour, the Congress shall adjust that thermostat.
I’ll watch that source more closely now
Have you seen the movie Elysium? The earth is dirt while the space station has greenery.
Have you seen houses in FL that Mexicans live in? First thing they do is kill off the lawn. I guess they don't like the bugs of a temperate climate. Our masters seem to prefer the Mexicans to us.
Besides, having a lawn that potentially has crickets, the new food, is the same thing as home gardening. Only factory grown crickets are sustainable.

plastic rant cont'd
... take it out of the wasteful plastic packaging. Place packaging in wasteful plastic trash bag. Put it in wasteful plastic trash barrel to be picked up by big smelly diesel garbage truck and taken to the landfill where it gets buried by a big smelly diesel dozer.
You could add to the beginning too. Most plastic resins are made in Canada or at least Northern states and are taken by train to various plastic product manufacturers throughout flyover country where enormous machines turn it into products. I know, I work at a plastic film/bag mfg. If you've ever gotten ground game meat from a small meat processor, we probably made the bags.
50 production employees and a $50k/mth electric bill. The entire town would have to be covered in solar panels to run the place BUT WAIT, solar panels don't make 440/460 volt 3 phase power. Even if they did, it would be too unreliable, but solar is not for the factories where the little people work. It's just for the little people's homes(which need to be tiny homes of course).
They'd probably love to outlaw hunting too but that's ok. We can make lab grown meat bags instead. Don't talk about the enormous machines in those "labs"(factories).
My mom used to bring home meat wrapped in paper made from trees but that was unsustainable. Paper comes off mill and gets put on a roll and shipped. NFG.
Plastic(from resin made 2000 miles away) film comes out of an extruder, gets rolled onto cardboard tubes, gets unrolled to go through a printer and rolled back up on another tube, unrolled again to be folded and cut with a 800 degree hot knife, stacked by hand into printed cardboard boxes, taped up with plastic tape. That's sustainable.
That hot knife punches down on a rubber roller covered with Teflon® film and they get recovered with Teflon® every few weeks. That makes it extra sustainable.
plastic rant end
Not kidding - these folks are nuts.
No not nuts.
Evil.
They want to kill 4 billion people quickly
They are INSANE
Methinks they hail from there
The way to end the climate change crisis is to end the climate change promoters like those at the WEF.

So if you drink plenty of cockroach milk the weather will be better;

(My Opinion) : Remeber months ago when some Federal Agency (Dept of Ag. ?) wanted citizens to report what they were home gardening ?
Based on the cooperation that this administration has done in following the WEF guidelines, and concern over the political alleged 'Climate Change',
one has to wonder whether the administration is working on behalf of the populace, or is seeking its own self-perpetuation.
Given the previous experience between government and special interests, such as with Big Pharma,
one has to wonder whether the government is working for us,
or, against us
Credit card companies are cooperating by identifying 2nd Amendment folks and gun ownership
- maybe it makes more sense to purchase home gardening seeds and material with cash, only ?
