Joe Biden Gives an Ultimatum to Greg Abbott, 'Pound Sand' Is the Proper Answer
Red State ^ | Jan, 25,2024 | Bronchie

Joe Biden, or more likely his handlers, levied an ultimatum on Thursday, demanding that Gov. Greg Abbott relinquish control of the "disputed" border areas Texas has been securing. That came after 25 states joined together to pledge their support to Abbott as he battles the federal government and its refusal to enforce immigration laws.

Not “Dear,” in my book! You are addressing a man that deserves NO respect.

How does one address a sad excuse for a man, who is absent when he is present?

I say, “p_resident Joe effin Biden, “go pound your pud, a**hole!”

“Ultimatum? Get your sorry butt to Kiev, Ukraine, you belong to them.”

My former Florida Congressman said about 20 years ago that 72% of the adult males in his district were ex-military.

The do is a lawsuit has been filed and it reaches them. The lawsuit(s) have been filed for failure to enforce border protection. One possibility here is that Texas is trying to force the issue up to the SC for a ruling. That would be a calculated risk but the outcome would be very public and raise the issue.

“If the USSC had any balls at all they would do the right thing and order the administration to...”

USSC has no authority to do that.

Really? They had the authority to back Biden over Abbott.

So far this wire ruling is not even a ruling at all. The USSC has positioned themselves exactly nowhere. They have said, wrongly I think, that CBP can cut the wire. Nothing else. That is no more picking nits than the left has done every day in violation of the intent of the law.

This ain’t J6, Joey. What are you going to do ? Throw th state of Texas in jail? What happens when there are more states standing with Texas than there are standing with you? That chip on your shoulder isn’t going wiggle you out of this one. Tyrants never understand when they’ve pushed too far until it’s too late. This will not end well for the babbling fool.

I never noticed in the constitution that the USSC has authority to order anything of that sort.

they are just to rule on cases whether some thing is constitutional or not.

It’s been up to governors to do their job, but too many wanted to perks and slacked off in doing their true jobs.

If the governors really want to support Texas they would each be not only sending help to Texas but also cleaning their state out of illegals. securing their states borders. Show Obiden they have not one but 25 states willing to deport illegals, not just let them pass through, stay in state or ship them around as gimmicks.DO THEIR JOB!

that’s why I knew desantis was a fraud from day one of his hemming and hawing about running etc etc, he has not secured FL, he has allowed more Mexican gangs to root in FL.

Every state leader needs to do right by their State Constitution and it’s Citizens or need to be booted out of office themselves.

If the Cadaver isn’t the nominee, given the relatively short time available to the *D* party, Trump will have a field day mocking them for playing Keystone Cops and grabass and clusterfock, Katzenjammer Kids or whatever he wants to name it.

“the border is becoming the #1 issue in election 2024”

So far it looks as if democrats think they will swing the election their way on the abortion issue.

But by making the Texas border blockade a front page issue they might be moving the border issue to the top of the list for more voters.

Democrats would have probably enhanced their election chances by keeping this fight with Texas low key.

Too late for that now.

Other links tell me they are largely for show.

yup... but if Texas NG or Texas Milita get killed...well just think about the reaction any Texan would take to that.

I don’t know but I think they’d be a bit miffed.

either way the Supreme Court can’t order it be done it can only rule whether or not it should be done. they have no power to enforce it, that would fall to states, or congress maybe
