Red State ^ | Jan, 25,2024 | Bronchie

Joe Biden, or more likely his handlers, levied an ultimatum on Thursday, demanding that Gov. Greg Abbott relinquish control of the "disputed" border areas Texas has been securing. That came after 25 states joined together to pledge their support to Abbott as he battles the federal government and its refusal to enforce immigration laws.

If we get to the point where some WOKE army officer orders the federal troops to fire on the Texas State Guard, and the troops en masse refuse, then the real civil war starts. Of course if some federal soldier turns around and takes out the officer giving the order…. I heard stories like this happened in Vietnam….

It was done with a fragmentation grenade, hence "fragging". Bullets can be traced through ballistics, grenades not.

“Not be lawful”. Would that stop the Communist Executive branch? Since when do they obey the law?

It is called a lawful order, firing on guard/police/civilians would likely not be lawful

“If the USSC had any balls at all they would do the right thing and order the administration to...”

USSC has no authority to do that.

Just saw Paxton on TV - said there's hundreds of miles of border, yet suddenly they want access here. And that in 3 1/2 years the FJB Regime hasn't cooperated with TX over anything. So basically the ball is in the Regime's court as to how stupid this gets.

“Dear President Biden: Nuts.”

What a perfect response. I would love to see Abbott say that to him.

None of this is something to wish for. It is horrible to contemplate or even speculate.

At some point we will reach a cross roads though. This may be the time. If we do not end what is taking place we are already on the steepening slope of tyranny and destruction of all we have enjoyed and hope for.

Even if we do manage to out vote the computers Trump can't lawfully turn the nation around. Nothing he did his last term stuck and the Senate is no more on his side now than ever nor is Congress for that matter. Even half the people are not on his side. In a divorce there are only two parties, we are now polarized to be much the same as a nation and we have reached the point of irreconcilable differences. One part can become subservient to the other but there is no compromise that can be reached. We either accept the terms of the left that are anathema to our principles and Constitution and what little is left of rule-of-law or we don't.

Tyranny can only lead to slavery. Tyrants never have enough until they have it all.

No. It’s up to the governor.

Trump needed to call up the National Guard during the insurrection riots of 2020.

But idiot lib governors wouldn’t sign off on it.

So the cities burned.

“the border is becoming the #1 issue in election 2024”

Was thinking about this. Obviously Joe doesn’t realize this because he’s probably wandering around the residential quarts of the White House, completely naked and wondering where he is.

But what if he’s not going to be the nominee? What if the Democrats shoe in Gretchen or Big Mike or someone else at the convention? Then Joe can be the fall guy for the Texas showdown, win or lose.

When you lead a charge it is a good idea to take a glance over your shoulder from time-to-time to see how many are following before you go too far.
