After a nor’easter barrels up the East Coast of the US this weekend, the active weather pattern will bring another powerful storm to the eastern half of the U.S. and create a variety of nasty weather.
According to the FOX Forecast Center, snow, flooding rain, damaging wind and severe weather are all in the forecast as the storm moves from the central US to the Great Lakes.

Used to be caused by Cheney now it’s Trump!
I played golf today. It was sunny and 70 degrees. Let them shiver and freeze in the dark.
I think this is called WEATHER and a young lady in Sweden is crying.
In January. Who knew?
We’re just starting to get a mix light snow and freezing rain. Hope the heavy stuff stays off coast but are ready for anything.
But, if I do, I have to remember it's northern Illinois in winter. Sometimes it snows.
WTH? Name it or it doesn’t count. Sorta like I 80 must not really be closed from NV state line to Truckee currently since the storm isn’t named.
I couldn’t imagine living in a place where you can play golf in January. :-0
I’m going to visit my daughter in Minneapolis at the end of the month. She wanted us to get a cabin on Mille Lacs for the weekend, which I just booked. Next I’m buying more long underwear. I’m a SoCal transplant to AZ and I don’t do snow very well.
>>>Mask up and hide in the basement. Don’t forget to cry. 😜
And don’t forget to keep your media on 24/7 so we can slam you with ads.
Fear porn.
I was promised unusually warm winters wherein I would not have high heating and electrical bills. WTF!?
Yup. They are shivering up in buffalo as I sleep under the starts. Jimmy buffet.
It is truly amazing that this happens every year! Sometimes several times. It is obviously an evil right-wing plot.
Truckee, I remember that from Hell On Wheels. Rewatching that again for 3rd time.
Grew up in New England. We didn’t count it a “Major Nor’easter” until the snow depth exceeded two feet. The seven inches the NOAA is promising my daughter’s place in coastal Maine is just a dusting. Barely enough to bother plowing.
I lived through one in 1977 that left SEVEN feet on our street in Cambridge. THAT was a major storm.
I couldn’t imagine living in a place where you can play golf in January. :-0
I couldn’t imagine not living in a place where you can play golf in January :-)
It has been named winter storm Ember.
Remember that 77 blizzard. Was a real money maker for a kid with his father’s snow blower and a shovel
