It's January. I was just out earlier today shoveling for the 2nd time all winter in northern Illinois. It's another El Nino winter for us, so I hope I don't have to use the snow blower much this year.

But, if I do, I have to remember it's northern Illinois in winter. Sometimes it snows.

I'm in Upstate New York. The media acts like snow is something new...and screams....30 million people will be effected...except it's a weekend...and most will stay home.

Why is everything such a big deal...it's winter...it's snow and ice and that's the way it is.....year after year after year.
