Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' campaign for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination continues to slide in the latest Rasmussen poll, as he plunged to a tie for third place with former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
The poll released Tuesday showed former President Donald Trump with a commanding lead of 51% of those who were asked which candidate they would vote for if the GOP presidential primary were held today.
Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, the U.N. ambassador in the Trump administration, was next with 13%, followed by DeSantis and Christie at 9% each, and Vivek Ramaswamy at 1%.

How could that be?
desantis said he had all these great endorsements!
So the endorsements by reynolds, vander plaats, chip roy, etc, didn't help?

We’ve been saying that here since before he even declared. If he’d listened to wise Freepers he’d be standing tall so to speak.

Although I will say I like desantis and was/ still am a supporter due to what he accomplished in Florida and really don’t care about his height that others have been making fun of.
I will say I know what did him in , because ,I myself was a disappointed with his first 3 debates. He looked like a robot and looked scripted, he is NOT good at being scripted. He is much better unscripted
Haley looked unscripted and so did Christie
That’s it that’s all
Trump looks unscripted
People tend to gravitate towards people who are not robots or
Scripted anymore

De Santis could have chosen to back and support Trump.

There are zero polls that show RDS not falling precipitously in poll results since he entered the race. No one had to pay for that result. It’s only RDS sycophants that deny that fact.

Hi.
No matter where Desantis is in the polls now or in July 2024, he has boosted his name recognition nationally.
What’s the old saying? Bad publicity is better than no publicity.

So, all the polls show Trump winning and they are all paid for by Trump? Never mind that vast majority of polls are conducting by news outlets and universities hostile to Trump>.
Rent a brain.

I’ve been reading about DeSantis plummeting, and plummeting, and plummeting some more, and still plummeting, in the polls for months now. How long can he keep “plummeting” from wherever he was, which was never that high, down to Zero, which is as low as you can go?
To: Behind Liberal Lines
How much did Trump Inc. pay for the poll?
DeSantis doesn't play well in the northeast at all, and he squandered possible support he could have had in the west. You don't need to buy a bad poll when the opponent runs a bad campaign.
What I don't get is DeSantis taking all these Never-Trumper allies, when he could have positioned himself as the Younger Trump with better Manners, and chose to fight with Christie, Haley and Asa Hutchinson for the "Trump deserves everything he's getting from the Establishment" crowd, which is why Ramaswamy, who should be an asterisk, is on the debate stage, and hasn't soiled his future.
