Spent the entire month of June in the va hospital. Again (second year in a row). And then 4 1/2 months in a skilled nursing rehab facility. Solved some of the medical issues but I'm still under the weather. Arms and hands still extremely weak. Still in bed for most of my time. Still can't sit in my powerchair very long. Still can't feed myself, etc. Still can't type. Still using voice recognition software to enter posts, etc. Very slow.
Our big problem right now is Chris is overwhelmed and stressed out. We're now looking for a full-time, live-in 24/7 caregiver. We can offer a salary plus room and board to the right person.
So basically, I've been in bed now for a year and a half And I've lost most of my strength. It's gonna take a lot of therapy To get me back on my feet. Still praying for miracles.

I wish that the opportunity would present itself just to sit and talk with you about the impact your contribution of this site has made in peoples' lives. I have been thrown out of two jobs specifically for mentioning Free Republic to the students (unrepentant and even more so) as well as Rush Limbaugh (still unrepentant and even more so). Haven't had a very stable career path due to being somewhat ultraconservative and non-negotiable about that.
I am so glad to have met some folks on here via several forms of communication and hold them dear every one. Your site is responsible for that. My prayers are for your improved health, and, that failing, for the salvation of your soul for eternity if you've read some of my posts along that line. As God has said, "Vengeance is Mine, I WILL repay, says the Lord." I believe every word and thought he had written in the Bible. He will take care of the evil people and may his richest blessings and mercy be on those who are opposite, like you.
