Former President Donald Trump’s defense team filed a new motion on Thursday indicating that the former president will present classified information exposing foreign interference in both the 2016 and 2020 U.S. Presidential elections. This move comes amidst a contentious legal battle by Judge Tanya Chutkan and led by Special Counsel Jack Smith.
In August, Trump was hit with four counts in Jack Smith’s sham January 6 case up in DC: Conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
“From on or about November 14, 2020, through on or about January 20, 2021, in the District of Columbia and elsewhere, the Defendant, DONALD J. TRUMP, did knowingly combine, conspire, confederate, and agree with co-conspirators, known and unknown to the Grand Jury, to injure, oppress, threaten, and intimidate one or more persons in the free exercise and enjoyment of a right and privilege secured to them by the Constitution and laws of the United States —that is, the right to vote, and to have one’s vote counted,” according to the indictment.
According to the motion submitted on Thursday by Trump’s counsel, led by attorneys John F. Lauro and Todd Blanche, Trum plans to introduce classified evidence during the trial. This evidence is said to disclose activities of foreign influence that affected both the 2016 and 2020 U.S. Presidential elections, thereby substantiating his efforts to overturn the election results.
The court document read:
The Indictment in this case adopts classified assessments by the Intelligence Community and others that minimized, and at times ignored, efforts by foreign actors to influence and interfere with the 2020 election.
President Trump will offer classified information at trial relating to foreign influence activities that impacted the 2016 and 2020 elections, as well as efforts by his administration to combat those activities.
President Trump will also present classified information relating to the biased and politicized nature of the intelligence assessments that he and others rejected during the events in question.
Collectively, this evidence will undercut central theories of the prosecution and establish that President Trump acted at all times in good faith and on the belief that he was doing what he had been elected to do.

While the previous two replies state facts about US airspace and the Vatican blackout, within one 24 hour period, this is my personal take:
Arrests made in Italy, and Southeast cleared for high level arrest, and the aircraft with whomever given a clear corridor to enter the US from Europe to Andrews AFB. Probably the Southeast having the least impact to very busy Northeast airspace.
I bet the prosecution asks for a continuance before dropping the case completely.
Judge won’t allow it.
Space Form has had for at least the 2020 election. Maybe someone with proper clearance will introduce it as evidence.

If this is the beginning of the culmination a bunch of us have been anticipating; and if this court and the DS attempt to deny its use/bury it; Then I would expect the Military Tribunal from Gitmo to step in, overrule Smith’s corrupt charade and reveal to the world the whole mountain of evidence that 2020 and 2022 were both stolen, and overturn them both. JMHO.

Much of the lawfare , indictments, and searches we have seen has been a frantic search for some SPECIFIC item(s) that the Deep State do not want revealed.
It could be paper documents, photos, videos, hard drives, but something that is physical and tangible. It is missing from the lair of the DS and must be found. It is powerful enough, they will risk everything to prevent exposure. It is truly an existential threat.
Friends and associates of Trump had their homes invaded and pillaged looking for the lost items. There was boxes and boxes hauled alway from Roger Stone, Rudy Giuliani, and many others including DJT himself. But the Holy Grail searches have failed.
The fear is palpable and real.

I just watched it. (seen it before of course) but what I did notice was how much more cognitive he was in this clip than he is now.

elections are conducted on the state level. the general manner in which they are conducted is mostly up to the individual states. states cannot classify evidence of cheating in state elections as secret in the federal level sense. jack smith is prosecuting in a federal trial. so perhaps it is a jurisdiction thing and neither smith nor the judge have any ability to claim that the defense evidence is classified. or perhaps they can attempt to make such claims but the claims won’t hold water due to jurisdictional considerations alone (which if the reasoning holds, should be sufficient to allow filing). (or, i could be wrong somehow...)
