President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, has been charged with a gun felony and two tax misdemeanors.
Hunter Biden was charged with illegally possessing a handgun in 2018 along with failing to pay federal taxes in 2017 and 2018.
“The first Information charges the defendant with tax offenses – namely, two counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax,” according to U.S. Attorney David Weiss’ letter. “The second Information charges the defendant with a firearm offense – namely, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.”
Hunter has agreed to plead guilty to the tax misdemeanors and entered a probation agreement for the gun charge, Axios reported.

Hunter Biden also has agreed to enter a so-called pretrial diversion agreement in connection with a charge of possession of a gun by a person who is a user or addict of illegal drugs, according to that filing by prosecutors in U.S. District Court in Delaware.
Typically, such agreements calls for the related criminal charge to be dismissed if a defendant complies with the conditions of the deal for a set period of time.
NBC News, citing two sources familiar with Hunter’s plea deal, said that U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss agreed to recommend to a judge that Hunter receive a sentence of probation for the tax crimes.

I grew up with a kid who had afluenza. His parents gave him anything he wanted.
Fast forward a few years after high school and he wanted a semi-auto rifle. Went to gun store and purchased one.
Problem was he was a convicted felon from the many crimes he’d done.
He got 10 years federal time. Those forms that are filled out when purchasing a gun can be used to put you in prison, if you lie on them!!

Have you no sympathy for a poor man who finds himself addicted and tortured? He was just starting to turn his life around when this musty old charge shows up to knock him back. Why, just facing this old accusation could be enough to throw him back into the arms of addiction.
I say we all show a little respect for a man trying to lead be better life. Isn’t there some job at the ATF we can appoint him to, so that he can set an example for the rest of us?

Yes, but they agreed to a “pre-trial diversion program”, which means that if Hunter does a weekend at rehab, the prosecutors will drop the charge.
So it is solved. President Joe Biden will have his bribe taking and treason ignored because he has thrown his son under the bus on no-jail-time minor issues.

Its not news when a crack head gets in trouble with the law, happens all the time. The question is if the government corruption in his family is finally gonna be dealt with by the law.
