During a Monday conversation with Elon Musk, Democrat presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the Second Amendment is settled and that a Kennedy administration will not be trying to take away guns.
Dr. Benjamin Braddock quoted RFK Jr. saying, “My position on gun control is that I’m not going to take away anybody’s guns. I’m a constitutional maximalist and the issue has been settled by the Supreme Court.”

He does very much believe that Sirhan did not fire the fatal shot that killed his father. Can’t say more than that without fact-checking. Have no opinion about this myself, but it’s noteworthy.
You have to remember politics in ‘68 revolved in the main around Vietnam. So Bobby was to the left of Nixon. As for other problems RFK was much more focussed on civil rights than Nixon, though Nixon was no Wallace by a longshot.
More truth than Joe Biden ever will.
Liberals response to gun violence: don’t execute murderers, release more violent criminals baxk into society, increase no cash-bail releases, disarm law-abiding citizens
Sane response to gun violence: execute murderers, lock up violent offenders without parole, keep cash-bail system in place, allow citizens to use guns to defend themselves from violent criminals
Pretty stark contrast, in 2023
Oh forgot one other aspect
Libs: pay criminals to not commit crimes
Sane: do not pay criminals to not commit crimes, instead arrest and jail criminals who keep committing crimes
“1968 We ONLY want to register all guns, and ban the import of foreign Saturday Night Specials, and 5-shot bolt action army surplus rifles! (they got the ban).”
For sure. The sonsofbitches cost me a mint Browning Hi Power and Walther PPK that I couldn’t legally bring back from Germany in 1969.
The bump stock ban is on Trump.
Is he trying to position for Trump’s vp?
I’m telling you - they would win.
Vivek lost me, too, when he came out in favor of trannies in the military.
Me too. And tbh, would probably be good for the country. Trump or Biden will continue to tear this country apart.

“He who would kill you would first lie to you’’.
it was bs
Please post a link to the video of the conversation between Kennedy and Musk.
He's a lying snake.
[snip] Environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lamented that there were no current laws on the books to punish global warming skeptics... "I wish there were a law you could punish them with. I don’t think there is a law that you can punish those politicians under," Kennedy told Climate Depot in a one-on-one interview during the People’s Climate March. [/snip]
***The sonsofbitches cost me a mint Browning Hi Power***
I bought one at the Base Exchange on Okinawa back in mid 1968! Legally brought it home before the 1968 Gun law was signed.
I didn’t come back until Aug. 1969 so was screwed. Loathe LBJ for the law (before even figuring in Viet Nam) to this day.
PS Fabulous personal page..captured the west magnificently!👍
If you’re used to parsing everything a politician has to say - and who isn’t by now? - you realize that if the Supreme Court were, say, packed until it says confiscation is fine, then Kennedy would be fine with it too. Then you have politicians who simply “change their minds” such as Beto O’Rourke, who morphed from “no interest in taking people’s guns” to “Hell yes we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47” in the blink of an eye. Then you have politicians who swear allegiance to the Second Amendment and let themselves get bulldozed into banning bump stocks, later thrown out by the Supreme Court and yes, I’m talking about Trump. I don’t trust a single one of them.
