@RepThomasMassie
Most politicians failed this test.
@GovRonDeSantis is one of the very few who passed.
RE:
@BuckSexton
You know everything you need to about a politician, expert, pundit, etc based on how they handled Covid
It was the ultimate test of judgment, independent thinking, intellectual honesty and courage
You absolutely cannot trust anyone who failed that test

How? Trump ordered no lockdowns. DeSantis did. He also threatened to take business licenses away and did, arrested a pastor for opening church. DeSantis was pro Maidan coup w Kinzinger.

Yeah Mr. Project warpspeed is innocent in all of this 🙄
Buck of Clay and Buck radio show
He’s all in for DeSantis
Doesn’t like Trump
DS did not pass the test.
He locked down and he pushed the experimental shots until he felt the wind change.
Kinda easier not to order a lockdown when thats the prerogative of governors not presidents.
Don’t confuse them with facts. They are on a roll.

Yeah, they’re who I’d want to listen to.

BTTT
Trump showed true leadership and common sense when he shut down flights from China.
And in some ways those lockdown orders were even more draconian than what the Nazi governors in states like California, New York, New Jersey and Michigan did.
Since you haven’t listened to the show you wouldn’t know they are very good on lical issues. They do a decent interview. The station is good for drive time traffic
One of the reasons Trump hates Brian Kemp so much is because Kemp told him to pound sand on the lockdowns while Trump was saying he "totally disagreed" with Kemp's move to reopen Georgia in early 2020.
DeSantis got a C— on the test, but that was indeed still much better than most pols.
Didn’t Trump support Bill Clinton and other democrats financially?
I’m in Florida and I don’t know what lockdowns you are talking about. What Florida do you live in?
Disappointing substitute for Rush.
I live in Florida and remember vividly the lockdowns as well as the one way isles in the stores, 6 ft line markers at checkouts, and mask mandates . The drive up shot stations, the empty roads( US19 to mention a prominent one). Take out restaurants only (if at all).
I don’t know where you live but here on the gulf coast we were locked down as well as anywhere.. The beach was the first to open and that was during spring break..it would have destroyed the revenue here if they had stayed closed. It was a gamble that worked.
Let’s not rewrite history like the libs do, it wasn’t that long ago.
You can also find video clips from Fox News where lawyers were astonished that he’d even try to do something like close Florida to DOMESTIC travel from other states.
He was also giving press briefings with his top health official where they bragged about how many restaurants and bars they shut down … as late as June 2020.
I can’t imagine why Massie would sell out and engage in this kind of historical revisionism when there is so much verifiable evidence against him.
Every @sshole has his price, I guess.
For anyone that wants to know the TRUTH about the arrest of the Pastor and how DeSantis handled it rather than the LIES from Trump cultists, read this:
DeSantis order relaxes rules for churches, freeing megachurch pastor to resume services
Notice this is in April, only a few weeks after the lockdowns started. DeSantis realized the mistake and corrected it quickly, establishing that churches are "essential"
Trump sat from March through the election backing Fauci and saying near nothing about the arrests of pastors in NY and CA.
From my perspective. Any ‘early’ support or acceptance of Covid-hysteria by a politician is understandable, including Trump and DeSantis. Why? Because the entire array of deep state government agencies and those organizations that support them were all-in on pushing this pandemic hysteria to the hilt.
WU/IHME (Washington University Insitute for Health Metrics and Evaluation - with funding from Bill Gates), NIH’s NIAID, Big Pharma, CDC, FDA et al were in this collusion up to their necks hiding data, wildly projecting disaster with no backups, changing prior guidelines and rules and working hand-in-hand with Democrats to bring down a population control scenario the likes of which this country has never seen.
So I’m not gonna ‘grade’ DeSantis or Trump for that matter to decide support.
Initially, there was a proactive reaction as to "what-do-we-do", but where I live we only had to wear masks in the stores for a month or so, then it was back to normal.
Caveat: We are in the country here (5 miles to the nearest store or gas station). Very rural here. YMMV.
