Anheuser-Busch’s top executive on Friday offered an apology flatter than a day-old Bud Light as the beer giant reels from the backlash over its sponsorship deal with controversial transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” Anheuser-Busch InBev CEO Brendan Whitworth said.
“We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.”
Whitworth’s statement made no mention of the sponsorship deal with Mulvaney — which has led to calls for a boycott of the nation’s largest beer company.
He also didn’t address reports that senior executives were kept in the dark about the Mulvaney rollout.

The apology literally said nothing. There wasn’t even an apology in the apology.
He used accountability once. And then he didn’t follow it up with how he’d be accountable.
I guess the Marines were sick of him and shipped him over to the Subversives.
CIA + Harvard Business School = -$6B in value in a week.
Beside National Lampoon and the Jaarvik Heart, what good has Harvard done the US?
The cop at the summit had Blue Moon, not Bud Light.
Bud Man was a deal back in the early 70s. I know. I was there.
Exactly.
Don't tell anyone but I hear that if you drink Bud Light you will begin to transition without knowing it. The formula was developed in Wuhan by Fouche.
I remember Bud Man. Also the Bud girls in skimpy bikinis at car shows. I showed my car in Atlanta in the early 90’s. Got a picture of two young cuties in bikinis leaning on my car.
Those days are GONE.
its not the stock price, its the drop in sales that is having an effect. weak apology or not
I don’t think any of them had Bud Light.
Shareholders should demand Whitworth’s resignation or terminate him. How can anyone lead a company the size of AB InDev and have no clue as to what their customer base is like? Big Business no long understands the primary object of every business: maximize shareholder wealth.
> “We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” Anheuser-Busch InBev CEO Brendan Whitworth lied.
A true statement would only say that he’s sorry he and his got caught ratcheting up the woke tension bar and would like the consequences to go away. Now.
We don’t feel your pain.....but your stakeholders who you report to do.......
A company is never free to do anything but the right thing. If they eschew that responsibility, there is no reason for them to exist.
Pitiful.
Apology refused.
Not enough Transvestites out there to make any money ,LOL
Do not beleive this lying ceo. Never buy any AB product again.
Perhaps tell your friends that do drink? This in-our-face Diversity Equity Inclusion BS has to stop. I’m sick and tired of it.
The best thing these trannies can do is to realize that the trans ideology is nothing more than a cult that has snookered them and taken advantage of them. You can’t change your DNA, so you need to figure out a way to deal with it other than using hormones that will never work with your own DNA. It’s like treating a broken bone with an appendectomy. It just doesn’t solve the problem. These people need real help, not something that destroys them.
The real story is the birth of Government Beer.
This was all planned from the get go.
Everyone knew, incentives were offered by la globalista familia.
AB put it all together and no one could stop it.
The VP has been assigned the face of it.
Heads will have to roll, which only means the VP maybe one other will be reassigned to equally lucrative positions in another fortune 500.
I see what they did here.
