“Embrace the swamp.”

Congressman Ron DeSantis in the 114th Congress didn’t endorse but actually voted for John Boehner for Speaker.

After ‘Bonerhead’ resigned Mr DeSantis voted for Paul Ryan for Speaker.

In the 115th Congress the best politician in United States History once again voted for Paul Ryan as Speaker.(All this information is available at GovTrack.us)

What were saying about DeSantis embracing the swamp again?

Oh wait.......Now I get it.......you were taking a ‘snarky shot’ at the 45th President of the United States......Donald J Trump.

Seem very unusual that most conservatives don’t want that job.
Speaks volumes about how dysfunctional our government is.

This proves that the MAGA movement is much bigger than DJT.

Wonder if he’s figured that out yet?

It doesn’t matter who endorses him. Axiom: When you groin-kick enough people, enough will remember you so you can view your own demise. He still might get the job. Will he do his duty to the citizens? He never has.

I love Trump but this rebellion is not about Trump.

Good.

Trump has had some lousy picks from the DC swamp. BUT When all you have to pick from is DC swamp critters, what can you do?

McCarthy is looking worse by the day, though.

When you have to tout one of his agenda item ‘concessions’ being ‘not spending money in safe seat elections’ that is not a high standard. It’s like promising you will only pee INSIDE the bowl.

And then he LIES about things, and says the holdout GOP members are doing it for personal gain? Not good...

They announced what they were holding out for. NONE OF IT was personal gain. All of it was common sense stuff THEY RAN ON AND PROMISED TO DO.

It’s not Trump. McCarthy is such a sleaze. Jesus himself could come down from Heaven, and McCarthy wouldn’t get the votes. He’s sold his soul to the rhinos, and I will have to sell his soul to the conservatives as well if he wants the job.

I still support Trump and think for the most part he was a great President. But his personnel choices as President as well as several endorsements were largely terrible, and he can’t ever resist the spotlight. There is absolutely no reason for him to be publicly involving himself in this vote. It doesn’t do anyone, especially him, any good.

Isn’t it wonderful that President Trump has lost his power and now we are at the mercy of 20 people who do not realize what damage they are doing.

Many are starting to see the light they shine in our faces. They are unable to produce what we want and are playing a game we are not included in but trying real hard to convince us that we are

Nah - Trump just doesn’t want the Repubs to give the Speakership back to the Dems after retaking the House - he has since come off pushing for McCarthy

Trump’s greatest weaknesses are while being against the Swamp, continually picking Swamp members for his leadership positions - and his immature attacks on others that aren’t worth it.

He lined his cabinet with those out to get him! That list is long........

NBC is worthless if you want the real news and not the Democrat take on it.

He was the worst deficit spender in history, even worse than Obama. He should’ve used the Veto Pen and called out the corruption, fraud, and waste.

This is an indication of how much Trump was damaged by the midterms. Republicans now feel free to ignore him and even openly criticize him without fear of repercussions from him or his supporters
