I was thinking about this just last week and wondering when it would happen.........................
A late friend of mine spent his life up in Fairbanks as a cop and corrections officer, and he wouldn’t take his garbage to the curb without a .357 or .44 strapped to his waist. He told the story of a friend’s wife who took their kids camping, woke in the middle of the night to a black bear poking his nose into their tent. She gave the bear 2 loads of double-ought to his face, and came home with the skinned and dressed bear tied to the hood of their car.
Justin would rather the peasants just be bear scat. It’s not him under threat, he’s got plenty of armed protection, and a little b**** like him would never go in the woods anyway.

What a difference from the Cub/Boy Scouts I was a member of. We were called to become better than ourselves, to do our best to do our duties to God and our country, to help other people at all times, to keep ourselves physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
Our goal was to become:

LOYAL
HELPFUL
FRIENDLY
COURTEOUS
KIND
OBEDIENT
CHEERFUL
THRIFTY
BRAVE
CLEAN
REVERENT

I only started hearing it in the last few years, mostly among East Indians referring to themselves jokingly (likes blacks refer to each other as n*****)

Girl Guides? Both words have issues. Perhaps they mean Person Neither Leading or Following.
In 2015, GGC formally announced that trans girls are welcome in Guiding, and in 2019, it released a new simplified uniform of a t-shirt or tunic, designed with input from girls that embraces the richness of its members’ diversity and reduces barriers to belonging. …Given what they did seven years ago (this is from the press release), one wonders if the term “girl” is going to stay.
I was busted with pride when I took the Brownie oath 75 years ago. From Wikipedia:
In the United States, Brownies use the same Promise and Law as the other age groups of the Girl Scouts of the USA.[10]

Just so you don’t inspire snowflakes, no, Browns refers to the uniform color, just like “Cardinals,” [here meaning “Red”] “White Sox,” “Red Sox,” “Blues,” “Reds,” etc. The Baltimore Orioles were formerly known as the St. Louis Browns.

These people see problems where there are none. They are sick puppies. I was in the Brownies. I was minded of luscious chocolate pastries, if anything.
Reminds me of what they tried to do with the term “tar baby”. When Pierre Delecto or Haley Barbour used the term, it suddenly was “racist” or “racial” . . .
