Former acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said Tuesday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that his old boss, former President Donald Trump is the only Republican who can’t win the 2024 general election.
After Trump announced his candidacy, Cooper asked, “Do you think this is good for the Republican Party?”
Mulvaney said, “No, I don’t. Because I think he’s the only Republican who could lose. If he wins in 2024, now he’s the candidate. He is the likely Republican nominee. Can he be beaten head-to-head by Ron Desantis or Tim Scott? Sure. But it’s not going to be a head-to-head race. There will be five or six other people in the race, and he’ll get the 35% that really support him, and under the winner-take-all primary system, he’ll be the nominee.

A Republican who bothers to show up on CNN is suspect to begin with, I dare say.
I don't think he's wrong about that, although I do think plenty of other Republicans could lose too.

We’ve sure got some characters out there.
Trump had a great win 6 years ago. Hopefully he can at the 8 year mark as well.
Yes Trump could absolutely “lose” because Republicans do absolutely nothing about election integrity like they’ve done for the past 2 years. So that will be 2020, 2022 and 2024 all stolen because Republicans continue to crawl into a fetal position under their desks sucking their thumbs while democrats continue this mail in ballot harvesting bullsh—, and does anyone believe for two seconds they are going to investigate anything or anybody? I don’t.

As Trump said last night: “This is not ‘HIS’ campaign to be President, it is ‘OUR’ campaign for the Presidency”
Trump also listed the people and organizations that will be attacking ‘OUR’ campaign for the 2024 Presidency.
We need to start compiling a list of those who are attacking so people can be informed as to who are friends and who are enemies.
That one young people increase their voting. Unfortunately, they voted in droves in 2022.
I know I sound like a broken record when saying this, but: The TV talking heads need you. You DON’T need them.
Stop watching TV. There’s nothing about TV that is supposed to make you feel good - it’s all tweaked and engineered to cause a nagging dissatisfaction with everything that’s good and normal about life. There’s nothing on it that will inform you, entertain you, or make you feel okay about yourself.
When I was a lot younger and still living at home, my mom subscribed to the magazine for teen gals called “Seventeen.” (Don’t know if it’s still around anymore.) I suppose she hoped I would start taking better care of my hair and using makeup properly and being like, you know, a cute high-school gal instead of a stoner who wore the same clothes every day. (Sorry, Mom!)
I would read Seventeen and every single time, without fail, I would feel sort of miserable and unhappy afterwards, but when I tried to identify what was making me feel so bad, I couldn’t really. It was so weird! Read Seventeen, feel like sh1t for the next few days. But I couldn’t stop reading it completely. (Then I ran away from home and most of the reading literature in the house where I lived was comic books and p4on mags! Yay!)
That’s what TV does to you. It doesn’t make you feel good but you can’t stop watching it.
STOP WATCHING TV. You’ll feel better. Your life will seem simpler and more focused. You will find that eventually you’ll realize you never needed the TV at all.
It’ll be up to local GOP in swing states to organize their own ballot harvesting & curing operations. The national GP will not help.
There are lots of Repubs who can lose. It is what they do best.
I’m sorry, but I disagree with that. We have a huge red wave in Florida. If you have a good candidates, you will win.
