Trump Launches Attack Blaming Mitch McConnell, Calls His Wife “Coco Chow”
The Free Press -- Tampa ^ | November 13, 2022 | Mike Jenkins

Posted on 11/13/2022 3:24:52 PM PST by karpov

Earlier this month, former President Trump said that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) should be impeached if he backs a plan for the debt ceiling to be eliminated over fears that House Republicans could cause the U.S. to default on the nation’s credit.

When asked by conservative radio host John Fredericks about chatter surrounding the possibility of Congress effectively eliminating the debt limit, the former president lambasted the idea.

On Sunday, following the Democrat’s win and maintaining Senate control, Trump went on the attack.

“It’s Mitch McConnell’s fault. Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake,” Trump said Sunday. “Giving 4 Trillion Dollars to the Radical Left for the Green New Deal, not Infrastructure, was an even bigger mistake. He blew the Midterms, and everyone despises him and his otherwise lovely wife, Coco Chow.”

With Democrats maintaining Senate control, this keeps the path open for Biden to have his judicial and administrative appointments confirmed, even if the Republicans take the House majority.

Control of the US House still hangs in the balance and may not be determined for some time with ballots left to be counted in closely contested races in California, as well as other states.

On Saturday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said at a press conference, “The race is now called in Arizona and Nevada. Democrats will have a majority in the Senate and I will once again be Majority Leader. This election is a victory. A victory and a vindication for Democrats, our agenda for America, and for the American people, There are three things that helped the Senate secure the majority. One, our terrific candidates, two, our agenda and our accomplishments and three the American people rejected, the anti-democratic extremist MAGA Republicans.”

Punch him in the fkn throat Trump!

You people and your anti-Trump nonsense are why we keep losing.

Who is in position and willing to fight for us and save America? Trump.

Who else wants to save America? Nobody.

Nobody has articulated such position, nor does any other posses the competence, backbone, means and willingness to get the job done.

You and everyone else out on this forum posting anti-Trump comments, puffing up you chest and typing hard acting like your opinion matters are insufferable fools.

Probably not his base but *absolutely* those many people who’ve voted for him as “the lesser of two evils”. IOW,the “moderates”.

“He is 76yo but sounds like a juvenile, and many Americans, especially Asian Americans, will perceive name-calling like “Coco Chow” to be racist. Nominating him in 2024 would be disastrous.”

I bet in 2015 you said the same damn thing...only then it was “racist” saying “Mexico was not sending its best.” Are you a member of the Lincoln Pedo Project?

Believe it or not, people do exist who are like that.

The worst thing about Trump is his childish egotism.

Otherwise we can put up with the grumpiness and the so-so communication.

The Trump-haters on FR have been lying low since 2016, but now they’re coming out of the woodwork. Maybe it’s time for another purge.

Name calling had been part of the Trump playbook since the 2016 Republican primaries. It didn’t cost him anything with the base back then.

But what about the republicans that have allowed all of it? Kemp & Ducey. They get a pass?

I know many are quickly jumping on the DeSantis train. Whatever.

Done some great things but he hasn’t done one thing alone as so many seem to think. He has a VERY, VERY, VERY supportive legislature that is just as responsible for what is going on in Florida.

That being said, the Florida legislature and DeSantis wrote, passed and signed a bill that pretty much eliminated the cheating. mechanisms. The results speak for themselves.

Sadly, stayes like Arizona and Georgia didn’t, when they easily could have and look at the disaster they are.

Michigan, Pennsylvania and Nevada are different because of their governors and because of that, both Michigan and Pennsylvania are lost.

Lombardo might be able to save Nevada as that vote makes no sense. They vote for a Republican Governor but not a Republican Senator.

IMHO, it proves that the Left is more concerned with the Senate and House than they are with the states. Thinking that if they ram through federalizing elections; they’ll get all the states within the next 2-4 years anyway.

If rally attendance goes down, then the base is PO; not before.

Was the base turned off when he said back in January 2016 he wouldn’t lose voters even if he shot somebody? (paraphrased) The base has less sympathy for unashamed RINOs he happens to tell the truth about.

I sat back and watched the sh^t fly. Anyone who knows NY politics knew it was going to be a site to behold.

BUT, when Cruz took on Glenn Beck I actually called his campaign and warned them to kick Becks ass to hell out of there.

They asked me why and I told them that that little jerk will make the campaign a circus show.

He did and it became the greatest joke on earth.

The Nature of hiding one’s true intentions and sabotaging movements that increase Conservative power - are going to end with more and more figuring out they’ve been lied to.

The mask is going to come off Fox News - and it ain’t going to be pretty.

Yes, sorry, but though I couldn’t care less about PCness, this is meant to be insulting and trying to tie in the Chinese as automatically communist.

No, it's not a racist slur.

Perhaps it wasn't meant as a racial slur but it will be portrayed as one in October 2024 by Rat Party Headquarters. And "moderates"...the 20% of the population who sometimes vote GOP and sometimes vote Rat...will *absolutely* see it as such.

For all we know, Coco is Mitch’s nickname for Elaine and maybe Trump doesn’t know Elaine “Chao” is not spelled as Chow.

I'm no fan of Mister McConnell. Might he bear some selective financing responsibility? He doesn't like Trump, one gathers.

But for pity sake, when Trump insults people, they settle scores. Effective presidents do much less juvenile name calling and more consensus building. Why on earth would one seek to make political enemies?

First it was the "-sanctimonious" foolishness, now this?

The GOPers that I know just wanted Trump to act dignified and presidential, and now do not support his (assumed) candidacy for 24.

FR will be a busy place for the next two years. I do hope that we can keep it FRiendly, as we disagree on a daily basis.
