Is anyone keeping score on the Trump backed candidates and how they’ve done tonight? Conversely, how have the candidates done that distance themselves from Donald Trump?
In States that have a lot of welfare babies that taxpayers support, it might be understandable why being “pro-life” won’t sell there, even to Republican voters.
That's an example of a potentially winning topic:cutting back on welfare.
“ I’m not sure who we run whether Trump or neocon or moderate can fix it”
No Republican, not Trump, not DeSantis, not a resurrected Reagan, can win the presidency in 2024. What today proved is it doesn’t even matter how badly they govern. It doesn’t matter if they are even conscious or coherent. They can have these economic and societal conditions and still hold their own.
There are no conditions short of post-nuclear Armageddon that could make their voters turn away from them. 73% of the people think the nation is heading the wrong direction…and still they vote for them.
The demographic time bomb went off. We are a one party Marxist state now. And they and the fentanyl are still going to pour over the open border to lock it in forever. The game here is over.
I think there is no way to fix it now.
Here on FR, I’ve asked the question
“If cutting back on welfare results in more poor women aborting, would you vote against cutting welfare?” and made a bunch of people uncomfortable.
Neither do I (obviously)
I think we become Western Europe now.
He still did more than the GOP did
Take Walker out of that mix. There are reasons that he is going to a runoff. Look at that result then we’ll discuss
The election/judicial process is utterly corrupt and tainted. Doesn’t matter who runs. Gulags will be built as scheduled. USA 1776-2008.
I am exactly the same as I have been for years. Not a damn thing has changed.

I’m talking decades.
I’m not sure if you are in Japan, but you’re out of touch with what has happened here.
24 years is a long time to stay static politically. I don’t mean philosophically.
I plan on turning off tv and stay off social media and conservative media for days.
Trump ran this country like a great businessman ,even though he was pounced on contently. Desantis did what Trump did on a smaller scale. Good luck to him on the big stage.
Now Biden thinks he has a Green Mandate to do what ever he wants—and when the war starts—he will get war powers too! WE are so screwed. Remember, Nancy runs things till January 2 2023. A lot can happen in that time. Maybe Trump can help with the Peace treaty when we lose the war to the Sino-Russian Axis.
Kansas proved recently that abortion is a loser issue
Interesting. Inflation, crime, open borders, education are the top concerns in America.
The rats will proclaim a mandate and continue to kill America, thanks to all who made it possible sadly we have to come along for the ride with the mentally ill and he stupid
Probably a smart move.
Last night America said to Trump, "Go away." They said this in the re-elections of Ron DeSantis, Marco Rubio, Brian Kemp, and Brad Raffensperger and they said this in the defeats of nearly every other MAGA candidate.
Trump is touting "174 wins, 9 losses. Great night!" Really? And those 174 wins? How many of those were House races already ahead by 20 points by the time Trump endorsed them?
It's those nine losses that mattered. These were devastating. These are on Trump.
Trump's days as a kingmaker or a viable candidate in '24 ended last night. People here would be wise to see this and move on.
Democrats Win : “We have a mandate.”
Republicans Win : “We will reach across the aisle.”
That may well be. But abortion being at risk appears to drive crazed liberal women to vote in large numbers.
So you’re pro-abortion because you can gain by it
I’ve noticed a lot of republican latin and black woman do not seem to pander the female vote as much as white female politicians.
A lot can be learned. It’s almost like white woman still believe America’s in the 1920s while the non-white counterparts seem to appreciate today’s freedom in America.
