NBC News ^ | October 1, 2022 | Anna Rhodes

If a hurricane takes out all the black people, who’s going to get all the TV commercial roles?

For quite a while I have seen the the word "equity" and now "equality" is coming back?

“Congress passed the bill for Florida yesterday. Biden signs it tomorrow. I have to say that was pretty damn quick. I’m pretty impressed. Course Rubio didn’t show up. Scott said no. And all the house Republican said no to. The strategy is quite a mystery. At least it passed. Thankfully most voters won’t know that their own representatives voted against their tragedy.”
I wonder what else is in it. Rarely does anything from DC stand alone.

That’s an ebonics name?

Who knows.
Black mothers (cause there's no father around) at time of birth just throw a bowl of vowels and consonants together (not knowing the difference between) and pick out a combination that looks "cool".
Never mind that the kid is going to be stuck telling people how to pronounce their name for the rest of their lives...

“I wonder what else is in it. Rarely does anything from DC stand alone.“

Have any Republicans even tried to say why they voted against this bill? I can just imagine it is loaded with policies Dems have wanted for a long time, such as citizenship for DACA, but we don’t know.

… will lead to growing inequality, and heighten racial disparities.

Articles used to be about a subject - now a collectivist theme like this is pulled out of the file and a story is constructed around it using whatever facts occurred that day.

I think the next named storm that starts with a “K” ought to be Kamala since she wants equity. Everyone is affected by this storm! Black, white, brown...and all get the same help that is available if they ask for it or go get it.
