“Check out the Huge line at this EV charging station in California…”
What long line?
Is that the used car lot TeslaGator works at selling used EVs?
Sorry boss, can’t make it in to work again today as I’m still in the line waiting with a near dead electric car for a spot to open so I can recharge. Been 3 days now, please do t be too mad, a d please don’t fire me. I’ll be there as soon as I can.
Ps, my phone is dying too, so this might be the last time I can call in till I find a place to recharge it too.
I-79 in WV is gonna be a problem for EV folks.
The Sheetz station in Weston, WV (exit 99) which had a Tesla super charger set up is closed until next March. It had one of only three charging stations between Charleston and Clarksburg. The other two are a ways off the interstate. One is at nearby Stonewall Jackson Resort and the other is at the Days Inn and Suites in Sutton. ICBW, but I’m pretty sure those charging stations are for guests only. That means about a 125 mile stretch of I-79 is electron free and that is NOT a flat straight run!

the Madonna Inn, at San Luis Obispo.
I really enjoy SLO, except for the woketivity. When I was a teen (‘70s) I seriously considered going to Cal Poly. I even thought about retiring around there. But it’s impossible for a conservative person. You’ll always be an insurgent. It’s not going to end well.
That’s stupid—it’s a years-old video posted without context.
Apparently I’m intellectually challenged. We’re told regularly to conserve electricity, buy LED bulbs, purchase energy- efficient washers, ovens, dishwashers, etc. In the summer we’re asked to keep ac to a minimum and the same for heat in winter. Because, climate change.
And yet.. we’re told to purchase a car or truck that runs on....ELECTRICITY. Electricity must be generated from a SOURCE. It’s not accessible by plugging into ...air. That I fail to grasp the genius of electric vehicles for millions makes me “unreasonable” according to my EV driving friends.
I used to like Teslas but the more i see them they are all exactly the same, Zero soul, like the Borg.
I would might rent one for the weekend to enjoy the acceleration but that would be it.
I would feel like a fool owning one.
What a friggin’ waste of time....and how much are they paying. They sure shouldn’t be giving it away for free....like my Town does.
Gas is cheap here I drove my hot rod around for fun today and we have some heat relief too. I opened up the sunroof and let my supercharged V8 rip. Took my dog to the park and saw a lot of V8’s out having fun
.
Ford is committed to keep building cars with real motors for longer than the others. Don’t buy the battery crap.
Somewhere, P.T. Barnum is laughing.
Waiting for the roving armed criminal gangs to start taking advantage of people sitting in long lines in their electric cars in order to charge them. Sitting ducks literally.
Watch this video, this explains well why EV’s towing will never work:

For years I use to drive that every couple days in the LA area..Sometimes every day...Do you think an electric vehicle would work for that?
Nearly all the teslas here look like little VW bugs and probably a cute ride for a librarian or something
