I-79 in WV is gonna be a problem for EV folks.

The Sheetz station in Weston, WV (exit 99) which had a Tesla super charger set up is closed until next March. It had one of only three charging stations between Charleston and Clarksburg. The other two are a ways off the interstate. One is at nearby Stonewall Jackson Resort and the other is at the Days Inn and Suites in Sutton. ICBW, but I’m pretty sure those charging stations are for guests only. That means about a 125 mile stretch of I-79 is electron free and that is NOT a flat straight run!

Tesla site says 8 charging lanes open 23/7.

Stretches of highway like that are the EV fanatics version of flyover country. They wouldn't be caught dead there.

But they could be caught with a dead electric vehicle. A famous guy once said "Stupid is as stupid does."
