Please be patient, EV owners. Once the government is able to scale up AOC’s idea, all will be well.

Like leftists care.
In fact, they enjoy “shared sacrifice”. ..real or pretend.

Bunch of IDIOTS. Anyone with half a brain knows that one should never take an EV out of range of their home charging station.

Stupid people. Maybe they’ll learn from this.

Awesome! I’m gonna take my Ram hemi I and an orange extension cord to a station and park with the orange extension cord running under the hood. 😎✌

Because we all have 2 extra hours in a workday to just hang out while we “fill up”.

More & more I think my 2018 decision to buy my Kia Niro PHEV was the right one. Total range is 550 miles but that is 520 on the ICE component. I get between 24 & 30 miles on the EV mode which means it is errands and commuting with minimum gasoline use. Overnight 120 recharge from wall socket is 6.5 hours (240 is 2.5 hrs) but I never recharge until battery is discharged. Spending hours in line to recharge an expensive Tesla does not make an attractive picture.

Seems like someone could make a killing providing portable EV charging service via a diesel-powered generator.

Umm? How many are sitting there with the air on? At least until someone has to push them to the charging station.

How long does it take to fully charge an EV? Is it faster than pumping a full tank of gasoline?

In the graphic you post, the real climate change culprit is the greenhouse gas water vapor produced by the cooling towers

Just the beginning - but it helps control the peasants. After all if you have to wait a couple of hours to charge your car on a trip then that trip becomes less desirable - particularly if you have to charge it several times.

We once went from Atlanta GA to Mitchell SD in a single shot (never again). As I recall we left about 5AM and got to the motel after midnight. 1230 miles that would be at least 6 charging stops to keep a safety factor on your battery charge - after all if you run out no one is going to come by with a bucket of electrons in western Missouri or eastern Nebraska. I don't remember exactly but figure it took about 20 hours so that's another 12 or maybe even 16 if you follow the battery life maximizing protocol. I suspect that would blunt the desire of the most ardent corn palace viewer to see it.

The California EV propagandists never tell you the percentage of electric power in their state is generated by coal.

People hate Tesla because they are anti-union.

People hate Musk because he fired his LBGT agitators.

Car dealers hate Tesla because they eliminate the middle man.

Car dealers hate Tesla because of the reduced service visits.

Which category are you in?

15 cars waiting to use 13 chargers. An extra 20-minute wait sucks, but hardly invalidates the technology; it’s not as if I’ve never waited 20 minutes for gas. If that were the norm, that’d be a problem. The fact that this doesn’t appear to be an interstate station makes me wonder why they can’t use their home charger or, if they have one, work charge.

Looks like “charging time” needs to include how long one sits in line waiting to plug in. Are charging stations being added as fast as EVs?

My little town has one charger. When in use it’s usually the same car sitting there getting charged. I guess we have an EV in town.

Footage from 2019 at the California Tesla Takeover at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California.

Don't get like the s***-posting twins and fail to do proper due diligence on post origin and content. Not everything is as advertised in the headlines, although you and every other Freeper may simply believe it.

And you'll note one of the twins 'quit' this site in late May.
