The late-blooming 2022 Atlantic Tropical Storm season is making up for lost time. A tropical system has developed in the Central Caribbean Sea. This storm system is forecast to threaten continental U.S. interests next week. While the tropical wave passed south of a key geographic area known as Hebert's Box #1, it will very likely pass through Hebert's Box #2. These boxes are useful as predictors of hurricanes that will strike South Florida. For more information about Hebert's Boxes, see Hebert Box. See graphic below which illustrated the Hebert's Boxes.

“imminent” is relative.
I am getting goosebumps watching some of this.
This is going to be worse than Katrina I think. Big, bad, slow moving storm...
Thanks!!
*** Old Florida was very cool. And you knew the worse a seafood dive looked on the outside, the better the food would be :)***
Ain’t that the truth! Dive spots are some of my faves, to this day.

Wow.
Thanks again to NN for the thread. What actually happens here is information from other websites like Mike's weather page, storm2k, NHC, NOAA all gets posted and shared - so many don't have to go hunting for forecast tracks, model runs, storm surge estimates and the like.
For the most part, no one here is regurgitating Network or Cable News, TWC, or even Accuweather garbage.
During a big storm, A NN thread really does become a valuable resource - an underrated one for sure.
Does anyone know when supposed to hit Orlando area? I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Thank you! Prayers for all!
Imagine if it hit Tampa instead.
