Early voter turnout in Kansas ahead of Tuesday’s election is significantly higher than it was at this point in 2018, the last midterm primary election. As of Wednesday, 110,697 votes have been cast in person, according to the Kansas Secretary of State. That’s more than three times the number of votes counted than at this point in 2018: Only 32,004 early votes had been cast at this point four years ago. That’s a roughly 246% increase in early in-person votes.

I expect 81 million votes to be counted in Kansas alone.

I just don’t see the abortion issue as that important anymore, except for the absolute radicals, there are far to many birth control products available that were not available when Roe was passed!! I believe this is the economy people are really suffering right now groceries, gas, EVERYTHING has become so expensive people on a fixed income are being hit the hardest!! My electric bill the last couple of months has NEVER been this high NEVER!! I worry that senior citizens will turn off their air and suffer because they just can’t afford the bill!!

Heck, there’s probably that in Johnson county alone. 😐

I would say economy more likely than the abortion issue. But, of course, that is just my personal opinion not based upon factual information, because no factual information is available. 🙂

If it is “in-person” voting, it is encouraging news.

Women under age 40 have 42 points lead on abortion issue.
But under 40 group does not turn out in big numbers to pull the lever.

It could go either way, as there are so many stupid people in this country anymore.

I didn’t see anything in the article as to age or sex breakdown. But then again, for full disclosure, I only scanned to see if they had any such breakdown & either missed it or it wasn’t there. 🙂

I go up my street and probably see 50-60 NO signs and only perhaps 6-7 YES signs. I hope that non sign YES voters are just being careful because they know that people who would kill their own children would not hesitate to vandalize or damage homes and property and that the NO signs aren’t really going to do much persuading. (Just intimidating.)

In a typical primary only those registered as D or R can vote. This primary any registered Kansas voter (D, R, unaffiliated, ‘3rd party’, etc) can vote due to the constitutional amendment. I would expect that to increase voter turnout.

Are you serious? God will judge as individuals. Be worried about what your life is like and what others lives are like.

Read the Bible. Judgement has fallen upon nations numerous times for rebellion to God.

That's the case. The dark side does that kind of stuff.

I stood in line for early vote for an hour. Never had to do that before. My guess it is driven by abortion. People seemed in a good mood except for 3 young whatever they are now skulking around together with a look of anger ready to spit and hiss. My guess is the trio of soiled doves do not want their hobby impeded by us ol fuddyduds. Kept a considerable distance out of abundance of caution.

My mom has been dead for 7 years and she voted for biden. She got 7 absentee ballots all filled out and a nice man even came to pick them up for her. I caught him at the mailbox just before he came up the stairs to the mailbox.

Kansas has never had even a whisper of voter fraud.

Au contraire, mon frere. Take a look at drop boxes in Johnson and Wyandotte Counties. Voter fraud is here, right here in River City. In November and in 2024 we will also see it see it on the Range where the deer and the antelope play.
