President Donald Trump could be planning to make an unusually early announcement of his plans to run for president, but not all Republicans are convinced it would be the right move for the party.
Trump has long teased a 2024 White House run and has continued to hold campaign-style rallies, all while stopping short of saying definitively if he plans to enter the race. However, recent revelations from the House Select committee's hearings on the January 6 insurrection are impacting his plans, according to a report from The New York Times.
Now, Trump is considering announcing a run far earlier than expected, possibly even this month, in part as an attempt to distract from the hearings, the outlet reported.

The Clintoon’s “Business Insider” is at it again. Worried about the “Republicans” as their own RAT Party goes to hell.
The Media and the Communists (but, I repeat myself) will drown out any distractions from their dog-and-pony show.
Wait til after midterms. Let it play out. Most of us are probably sure he is running anyway.
Draft Trump now, the Country will not hold together till 2024.
Right, just lib propaganda. Anything to distract from their long strings of disasters.
Business Insider? Seriously? DNC bugle?
1. he is letting all the primaries run with his looming image shading the democrats.
2. he is definitely tossing a chuck foo at the 1/6 kangaroo court.
3. he is a ray of hope, because besides him, if not in some way desantis, the rest of those repubs salivating are crap.
4. only The Shadow knows!
A “report” cited by the NYT is then cited by other sources. Then Sunday talking head shows will discuss. The poor slob just wanting news gets instead propaganda severed four ways. Must be true, everyone’s saying it.
Nobody cares about the hearings. If he announces before the midterms it’ll be yet another “me first” decision by the king of “me first” decisions.
BI clickbait quoting an article in the NYTimes which is referencing unnamed sources. Hearsay. Much like last week’s fabricated “bombshell” J6 testimony.
The wind will be knocked out of the J6 committee sails once Cheney is primaried out. The J6 committee will be demasted after the Midterms, then scuttled in January.
And therein lies the problem. The only thing dems worry about is not having power. Repubs worry what people might think of them or say about them.
The campaign laws would prevent Trump from announcing. Even talking about this now shows a complete ignorance about how our “system” works.
They will try to charge him with some BS crime soon either for JAN 6 or the stuff in GA
VIDEO: Liz Cheney: The Justice Department should not avoid prosecuting former Pres. Donald Trump for Jan 6

Trump needs to stop talking 2020 and start talking fuel prices, inflation and the border.
Nobody cares about 2020 and Jan 6. Let the Democrats be the ones who are focused on everything but the economic pain the nation is feeling.
Trump needs to pivot NOW. He needs to ignore the Jan 6 committee and start talking energy independence, securing the border and restoring the pre-Covid economy.
If he does nots start talking current issues, then he loses his populist imagine and he is no better choice than a Democrat.
yeah, with a nearly perfect endorsement track record I can see where TRUMP could be a net negative in the midterms LIKE JOEY SOCK PUPPET IS.
Regardless...let's get through the 2022 election. Let's see if we pick up both the house and senate...Boy would I like to see 60 in the Senate.
Face it, that’s all Trump really has. Sour grapes.
Yep. They left out the “people familiar with his thinking”
I learned long ago NOT to trust anything any venue that has “Insider” attached to its name, period. That most definitely includes BI......
