New York Judge Ralph Porzio ruled on Monday that New York City's extension of voting rights to non-U.S. citizens violated the New York Constitution, the state's election law, and the Municipal Home Rule Law — rendering another Democrat attempt to undermine elections illegal, null, and void.
A bill creating the new class of non-citizen voters — potentially numbering as many as 900,000 new voters in New York City municipal elections — was passed by the New York City Council in December 2021, but not vetoed or signed by former Mayor Bill de Blasio. After 30 days without action from de Blasio, the bill was considered adopted under the council's rules.
As the order from Judge Porzio explains, the "New York State Constitution expressly establishes voting qualifications for local elections" and is "defined as a right of 'citizens.'" In addition, New York's election law "states only 'citizens' may vote in elections." And New York's home rule law also mandates that "local laws may not be inconsistent with the provisions of the Constitution or of any general law." The attempt to allow non-citizens to vote meant that the New York City Council was in violation of all three.

It’s a start. Hopefully this will create a domino effect in the court system and in the rest of the country. It’s been a great week for sure.
A few weeks ago Roberts, ACB, and Kavanaugh sided with allowing mail-in ballots not needing the date to be filled out in PA. It hasn’t been all good rulings.
But, a totally acceptable mash-up of “dismal” and “small”.
Of which, it was decidedly both.
Then again, even the illegals might have voted Republican.
I suppose this will get appealed and / or the turds in NY will just ignore the ruling and let illegals vote, multiple times, if they want.
Pretty sure ignore wins over appeal in NYC.
Next step: deport every illegal non-citizen.

Good luck finding them now that they’ve been bussed or flown all over the country. Like the Elvis song. No such number, address unknown, no such zone.
Perhaps we all thought the mealy-mouthed party-jumping ignorant dwarf Mike Bloomberg was bad, but then a.k.a. DeBlasio took over. Adams and his cadre make DeBlasio look better. If this law had stood up, busloads of out of state conservatives could have shown up on election day and swamped whatever trash the Demagogic Party had scraped up.
Some type of Armageddon is clearly on the horizon…

RE: Sadly, the branDUHn ‘b’administration is still in charge.
If we don’t secure our elections and see a repeat of what happened in November 2020, all these victories can eventually be overturned.
Maybe the nitwits finally realized they were in NY and nothing will change w/r/t abortion law.
