Update!
I drove to the VA today, but wasn't allowed to visit with my dad. I was able to speak with his doctor though, and she said that they are treating him for Covid pneumonia, but stressed that they are uncertain if he actually has pneumonia. This is because he had tested positive for Covid on the 22nd, two days before they discharged him on the 24th. They are now highly recommending a short-term rehab facility, which they would like to discharge him into on July 2nd.
