He has definitely moved in that direction. He still hasn’t come up with an idea for a good backstabometer.
Trump is burning his bridges rapidly.
He lost my vote with his Dr Oz endorsement in my Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
This is the final straw.
I might not even vote for Trump if he wins the nomination now.
He may have gotten something greater for it.

Yeah. Well he has had to be a politician for quite a while now. In 2020 he was an incumbent Republican President running for reelection. :-)
I doubt that is the case at all. He pissed off both the right & the left. while he still got a remarkable portion of his promises to become enacted, he missed others due to his attacks. A smart person realizes mistakes, and makes changes. Now if he were to endorse McConnell again, well.....
No, Trump just has a lenghthy history of being a poor judge of character which has often come back to bite him. This is just one more bad choice of who to support or of who to let into his inner circle ... and is a flaw in Trump’s otherwise lenghthy history of success.

Do not vote for McCarthy in the primary and, if he wins, do not vote for him in the general. I can’t take out all the rhinos but we sure should take out their leadership. After that McConnell if the limp of melted wax runs again.

Trump does not know the difference in a RINO and MAGA. His atrocious endorsements prove it. He was a great policy president for four years but he was stabbed in the back by some of the same people he endorsed. Time for him to support Ron DeSantis.
He recently endorsed RINO, anti-RKBA, Pro-Abort, Tax&Spend NLV “Sheriff” Joe Lombardo for NV Governor.
The only reason that makes any sense at all is that Lombardo is leading the R side of the primary race, solely due to name recognition and N. LV population.
So yes, playing politics instead of backing the best candidate.
Not sure if that is a sign of political maturity, or just cynicism.
