House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline ” that Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito‘s legal reasoning in a leaked draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade was a “severe danger to the Constitution of the United States.”
Pelosi said, “We have to have clarity in what this draft decision means so that the final decision doesn’t go that far. The chief justice has said this is authentic, but it is not final. I don’t want to use the word authentic. It’s real but not final. Again, Lincoln said public sentiment is everything, and with it, you can accomplish almost anything, and without it, nothing. Women just have to weigh in. I don’t think there’s a good outcome here, but I think there’s a better outcome than what we have seen in the first draft, which is radical. It dispenses with precedent even though some of these candidates for when they were candidates for confirmation said they support it as what you’ve seen over and over and they support the precedent and what it means especially the precedent that has repeatedly been reinforced.”

Regardless of which side of the abortion issue one is on, or any other issue, the Constitution has it covered. It is either an enumerated power of the Federal Government or it is not. If not, the 10th Amendment states “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”.
Abortion is not enumerated, therefore, logically it is reserved to the States or to the people. Homo marriage is the same. Right to bear arms is enumerated and controlled by the Constitution.
Don’t like the answer, no problem, the Constitution has that covered too. Execute the Constitutional Amendment process and it becomes covered.
I detest leftists who are unable / unwilling to follow the law just because they don’t like it.
I think abortion is evil, but the Constitution simply does not enumerate it so Abortion is not addressed. Therefore, it can neither be universally approved nor banned by the Federal Government, if one actually follows the Constitution.
Most of this stuff is really not that hard, people just try to make it hard.

The problem is, the SCOTUS themselves bought into that. Hence, they ushered this country officially into being an oligarchy when they refused to rule on the plain meaning [had been plain for 250 years] of Natural Born Citizen in Berg vs. Obama.
Just like Julius Caesar ushered in the end of the Roman republic and the beginning of the Roman empire when he crossed the Rubicon river with his army, historians will trace this official milestone to this event for the US. Our republic was dealt a death blow on that day and has been suffering the muscle spasms of death throes as a dying republic ever since then. All this DeepState stuff directly is traceable to putting someone like obambam in power.
