A Russian military convoy that was outside of Ivankiv, Ukraine, on Sunday has since made it to the outskirts of Kyiv, satellite images show.

On Sunday, the convoy was roughly 40 miles northwest of the Ukrainian capital, according to images provided by Maxar Technologies.

Maxar said that roughly 17 miles of roadway is chocked full of the convoy, which consists of armored vehicles, tanks, towed artillery and other logistical vehicles.

The private US company said the convoy was located on the T-1011 highway at Antonov air base around 11:11 a.m local time.

Antonov is roughly 17 miles from the center of the Ukrainian capital.

Those losses posted for the 19th and 20th would make a task-organized mech/armor brigade combat ineffective. 51 armored vehicles (tanks and infantry fighting carriers) lost in combat, again demonstrates, that the special military operation is more serious than many wars.

In the Falklands War, Argentine and British combined casualties (killed and wounded) amounted to a little over 3000. Putin’s euphemism for war is Orwellian. Putin’s shrugging off of the Kursk peacetime tragedy also illustrates his mindset.

Yes it is odd that the Russian military not is saying stop to this nonsense. But the Russian army has almost zero influence in Kreml.

Long THREAD:
A war that the world has not seen for a long time...

Russia's war against Ukraine seems to many people to be local and not too big on a global scale. But if we compare it with World Wars І and II, then in terms of the level of destruction of artillery, Russia is not inferior to the artillery of the USSR in 1941-1942.

If you divide it by the length of the front line, then the destruction caused by Russian artillery is comparable to the scale of the destruction of Hitler's army in 1941-1944.
We see one of the most destructive wars right now. And it is difficult to call it a local conflict.

How long will Russia be able to feed this beast?
According to Novaya Gazeta, Russia had 15 million artillery shells at the beginning of the war.
Also, Russia can produce another 1 million shells per year and restore 0.5 million old Soviet shells

5/17 According to my calculations, this will be enough for about 11 months.
But from November to April, Russia will certainly experience logistics problems due to bad roads.
Most likely, Russia will not experience an acute shortage of shells until next summer-autumn.

The Effects of Combat Fatigue − The Psychological Cost of Frontline Fighting

Shell shock, combat fatigue, combat stress reaction − the terms and diagnosis for mental health issues directly linked to battle have changed and been modified since the term “shell shock” was coined in World War I. The result of psychiatric breakdown still remains the same – one of the most costly items of war when expressed in human terms.

On the night from 20th to 21st August #1968, the armies of the #WarsawPact invaded #Czechoslovakia and ended the liberalisation process known as #PragueSpring, as well as dreams of a whole generation. The occupation lasted 23 years. We cannot alow that again. #StandWithUkraine️

Great video recorded in the Soviet Union following the Stalinist Thaw of 1956. Ukrainians describe how Stalin used ethnic cleansing, forced population transfers and suppression of Ukrainian language and culture in an effort to erase the Ukrainian nation.

Kuban is Ukraine.

Darya Dugina: Daughter of Putin ally killed in Moscow blast

The daughter of a close ally of Russia's President Vladimir Putin has been killed in a suspected car bombing.

Darya Dugina, 29, died after an explosion on a road outside Moscow, Russia's investigative committee said.

It is thought her father, the Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, who is known as “Putin's brain”, may have been the intended target of the attack.

Mr Dugin is a prominent ultra-nationalist ideologue who is believed to be close to the Russian president.

Alexander Dugin and his daughter had been at a festival near Moscow, where the philosopher gave a lecture.

The “Tradition” festival describes itself as a family event for art lovers which takes place at the Zakharovo estate, where Russian poet Alexander Pushkin once stayed.

The pair were due to leave the venue on Saturday evening in the same car, before Mr Dugin reportedly made a decision at the last minute to travel separately.

That is a short but very powerful video. The same Ukrainian replacement work started again in with the 2014 Donbas invasion.

Sochi, where the Russian Winter Olympics were held, had been a Georgian town up until the Russian Civil War (earlier, it had been a small but cosmopolitan town with the influences of various Caucasus cultures).

Interesting from Sergej Sumlenny

THREAD Regarding the question “who could stay behind Darya Dugina’s death”. We need to separate many topics here.
1) Dugina was a devoted and important Nazi propagandist and a party member, but WAY far from being a star in Russia. In Ukraine or else she wasn’t known at all;

Her father Alexandr was way more famous. But he was not as important as he wanted us to believe. His ideas were taken, stolen, appropriated, used by the Kremlin, but he personally was never allowed to belong to Kremlin’s inner circle. He was always a 3rd class starlet;

3) Ok, who was the target - he or she? The car was registered on the father’s name, and he was intended to drive it, as some of his friends said. It can be, he was targeted (as anyway he was more prominent). The only way she was targeted is, when HE planned the murder;

3.1) Let me elaborate on this. It is not as weird as one can think. Dugin was a philosopher of the cult of death and sacrifice. He always said, that the death experience is the most important one. He was a Death Eater. In his “Eurasist” ideology a mighty Father sacrificing.

3.2) ...his daughter’s life could really be something titanic, bringing supernatural powers into movement, and improving his (weakend) position. Be like a legendary King. Still, this is only one of the ideas. I just want to say, it is not unthinkable. What do we have further?
Russian FSB or other Kremlin groups. I would say, it is the most realistic version. Here 2 very opposite motives can be in place:
4.1) Intensifying the war via playing the card “Ukrainians are killing us in Moscow!”
4.2) Exit strategy sending signals to the hawks “shut up”

4.3) I know, that these motives oppose each other. This should not surprise you. There can be different ideas within the FSB leadership, and different orders can be given. One can imagine, that some groups want to intensify the war, and others want to look for exit strategies

4.3.1.) Dugin can be targeted by both groups - as it is not important that he was targeted (and killed in the successful scenario), but what informational campaign follows. “We must fight back!” or “Look what insanity Dugin brought to us”

5) Could the Ukrainian commandos stay behind this attack? I doubt it. Dugin was not the most prominent Russian propagandist. He was not the face of Russian aggression for Ukrainians. Skabeyeva, Solovyov, Tolstoy, Kiselyov, Simonyan - anyone would be a more logical target.

) And of course, one should not forget the cannibalizing tendencies within the far-right Russian groups. Could Dugin be hatred by somebody here? Sure. Do these people know how to install bombs? Oh yes, many of them fought in Ukraine. This motive cannot be ignored.

7) Anyway, for practical means, it is important to see, how the Kremlin will use this news. Even if it was not Kremlin, they will start to use this explosion. An attack in luxury Odintsovo district, where all the Ministers and Putin himself have their villas, will be used

7.1.) We will witness very soon, what prof it Kremlin (but also other far-rights) will try to get out of the death of the Nazi Darya Dugina.

in his April 2020 article, Alexandr Dugin clearly wrote, that parts of the elite should be groomed with one purpose - to be killed (sacrificed) amid challenging times, so the society could magically buy back the lost support of the Gods. Does it give us any call?
On his esotheric far-right esotericweb-page “Arctogaea” Alexandr Dugin literally had a huge article about the ancient mystical tradition to sacrifice children, including a case of a father sacrificing his daughter’s life: : http://arcto.ru/article/1655

https://twitter.com/sumlenny/status/1561318530284490752

A funny thing. I was asked today by a respectful media if I could comment on the Dugina’s death. I agreed, and mentioned that there is a small like 20% chance Dugin himself stays behind it, as he is an esoteric psycho. The person was clearly scared, the interview was canceled :)

And yes, I was asked, if Ukrainians or (!) Russian opposition (!!!) stays behind the attack. I said: clearly no. My guess: 80% FSB, 20% Dugin, some few chances Dugin’s party internal enemies. “What party?”the person asked. I had to explain, Dugin stays on the top of his movement.

Too many people in the West really cannot get it, that Russian elites massively believe in esoteric things, secret power artifacts, reptiloids, mind reading etc As I mentioned the Dugin’s occult ideas, she was really visibly scared, as if it was me who started the Flat Earth Talk

https://twitter.com/sumlenny/status/1561374072977637377

If some “National Republican Army has killed Darya Dugina, I was totally wrong in all my judgement about who and how are organized in Russia regarding possible terror attacks. I do not remember any anti-Putin guerrilla except of “Primorye partisans”. I will wait for facts and

will say “mea maxima culpa” if I get proven wrong. But now I still stick to my primary version: FSB (although not clear what faction and why. Maybe those who want intensify the war, maybe those who want to scare the hawks, maybe those who want to start a witch hunt. Who knows)

#Dugin assassination updates:
- Reports that surveillance cameras in the parking lot near the explosion had been disabled for last 2 weeks
- Car was owned by Daria, not Dugin
- Bomb was under driver’s seat

Looks like a professional hit and she may have been the target after all

His analysis is very good, and the information about Dugin even WRITING about fathers sacrificing their daughters makes me believe Dugin really was behind it. Consider also that it was reported that he was supposed to be in the car but then changed his mind for reasons unknown.
