First responders here in my Central Oregon Coast town were chasing all the lookie-loos off the beach all day.
Unfortunately, it would take a few hundred feet, so I’m putting my hopes in an asteroid (or a shortage of antibiotics, given the filth they live in).
Nice video, thanks.
I used to live right by the harbor, and worked on boats there.
Before they enlarged the harbor past the bridge.
We also would search for antique bottles there, now it’s all flooded...

In the last 24 hours we've seen a huge explosive volcanic eruption from the Tongan island of Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai - the blast is so large it's easily visible from multiple satellites in geostationary orbit, tens of thousands of miles up. The blast sent a soundwave around the world which is still being measured and the resulting tsunami caused flooding around the pacific ocean.Volcanic Eruption May Be Biggest Ever Seen From Space | January 15, 2022 | Scott Manley
A two foot tsunami... so that’s basically every Florida beach...
I’m going to watch Point Break
