In responding to the U.S. Supreme Court decision allowing the Texas abortion ban to stay in place, California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Saturday said he plans to propose a gun control law that would be modeled on the Texas one. Newsom said the Supreme Court’s decision has set a precedent that will allow states to avoid federal courts when enacting laws.

WTF?! How do you draw the conclusion that I’m in support if it? I called Gruesome a vile scoundrel! My only point is that the governor trying to use the Texas law as a springboard to effectively eliminate all firearms in California is fake news. Let’s deal with the facts, and not act like lefties by distorting reality.

And one thing won’t lead to another? Leftists can be trusted with anything?

Ted Kennedy said that if Reagan signed the immigration bill that it would be capped from that point on. Hence, we have a train wreck of an immigration situation. One from SoCal should know as well as anyone, what giving the Left ANYTHING accomplishes.

Nothing being distorted. Another vile scoundrel in the California legislature will try to amend the bill to go even further. Republican’s, being outnumbered as they are, will jump up and down, throw a temper tantrum, and draft a sternly worded letter. At the end of the day, everything is being done for one reason and one reason only....Eliminate Firearms in California.

Firearms owners will be identified and be sued into oblivion.

You can’t see that happening, you’re the one distorting the facts and Leftist history.

An interesting tactic, and one that will more than likely work.

They might try of course. Just like a lefty would say the Texas paw is just the first step. That’s all speculation. At least you’re admitting that isn’t the proposal.

In any case there has to be harm somewhere for a lawsuit to proceed. There’s no harm in a simply sales transaction.

There’s no harm in a simply sales transaction...........The harm will be fabricated. It will be emotional. It will be anything they want it to be.

And the gun seller, owner, ghost gun manufacturer will pay for it.

It’s no more complicated than that. Again, based on your responses, you seem to be in favor of this proposal. If you are, fine. That’s your prerogative.

But, giving the Left and Democrats ANYTHING only allows them to take more. Pure and Simple.

Show one thing that they were allowed to do and didn’t start trying to make it worse and more restrictive.

The Left is evil, cannot be reasoned with and in no way, shape or form willing to compromise or be bipartisan. This bill will lead to something worse. Baby steps. Nothing but baby steps.

You’re probably right. Just more of the illustration of the vast disparity of wealth there. Only the rich in this case aren’t always going to be white people. There will be other races represented.....ones that have fought for advances in representation in entertainment and business. It’s going to be interesting to see just how far Nancy’s Nephew gets with this...

By their logic, liquor manufacturers could also be sued. Where does it end?

I also don’t support fake news.

The Texas measure *was* based on ‘ideal’ proposed gun control measures. This should be fun.

"California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Saturday said he plans to propose a gun control law that would be modeled on the Texas one. Newsom said the Supreme Court’s decision has set a precedent that will allow states to avoid federal courts when enacting laws."

Really, Gruesome? Well, while you're issuing idle threats -- and it's obvious you haven't read the bill, or the decisions -- there are people crafting legislation to utilize this novel approach to stopping electoral fraud; stopping CRT; not only stopping get-out-of-jail-free, but using Texas as an end run around sovereign immunity; opening up the lawsuit playfield against anyone who approved, ordered, codified, distributed and/or administered experimental serums; and most importantly, utilizing this decision against the Chinese/PLA/CCP manchurian candidates like YOU that have infested the core of our "military-industrial complex" like confucian termites, noting Eisenhower also directly warned US three sentences later that, "We must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite."

So, you do you, Gavin. And if you run in 2024 on such a platform against The White Hospice, so much the better!

Newsome will eventually lose.

Wishful thinking in today's America....

In a normal, rational world, you would be right. But there are so many back stabbing, sniveling sellout traitors in the courts that your statement comes with holding ones breath and hoping what you wrote comes true.

The Texas law doesn’t say the forceps and scalple makers are liable for abortions.

SUV’s don’t Kill people. People kill people.

They can sue, but unless the gun was defective, good luck.

I was actually kind of sad when she (or he or it) was banned forever. She was actually enlightening even if it was unintentional.

I still remember when she admitted that she did not think that anyone in the military should be allowed to vote at all until after they were discharged.

Suddenly I understood why the democrats were so keen on trashing the military vote.

“Except there is a Constitutional right to bear arms and no right to kill babies in the plain words of the Constitution.”

You’re right, of course. But logic has left our society, and only emotions matter these days. All that’s needed to defeat logic is a compelling emotional case.
