A teenager in Philadelphia was shot 18 times and killed at a bus stop on Monday.

Police said in an emailed report that a 14-year-old Black teenager was at a bus stop Monday afternoon when he was shot 18 times.

The motive for the two unknown shooters is unclear. Police have not yet made any arrests related to the incident.

This article has a few more details. Another murder in broad daylight (3:30 PM) and the victim was chased down before he was shot. There should be plenty of witnesses.

Well I guess guns really are senseless being inanimate. On the other hand guns have a really hard time getting around since they have no legs or eyes. I wonder if the gun(s) had any help firing 18 times at the victim. If you can't define the problem Chief (appropriately named) Outlaw, you ain't gonna fix it.

Ah. My home town. I always learned growing up to do things right and get the job done. Kudos to the shooter, embracing these values. However, he should be released without bail so he can practice being frugal. Finance should be a part of all sound making decision processes. 18 bullets are expensive these days. Two would have sufficed. (That’s sarcasm for the really slow folks.)

Not a bump. Bump shooting is fast but rather less than accurate. They are good for getting a lot of bullets out there, not so much for placing shots.
