Biden is a walking corpse. Why is he undergoing a procedure to detect a cancer that wouldn’t kill him if undetected for 10 years unless.. he already has colon cancer?
BS. My mom’s the same age and her doctor informed her they don’t do colonoscopies on people her age any more because it’s too easy to damage the intestinal tract.
Age isn't the problem. Dementia is.
There is growing evidence that giving dementia patients general anesthesia rapidly declines their mental state. This happened to a friend of mine last winter when he had surgery done on his GI tract. He was about 80% functional when he went in the hospital. He was about 20% when he came out and was never any better. Couldn't recite even basic details about who he was, where he was or much else. Fortunately/unfortunately, he died from COVID about three weeks later.
I would presume the doctors around Biden know all the risks and they may have a different method for putting him under or doing the procedure. All I can say is that if they think his brain is healthy and give him the gas, it's "turn out the lights".
I'm 75 and have a colonoscopy every 3 years. Each time, they remove pre - cancerous polyps, which keeps me from developing colon cancer.
I've also been diagnosed with prostate cancer caused by Agent Orange. Every 12 months I have a PSA test and biopsy at the VA to determine if the cancer is spreading. If it does start to spread they will take the necessary steps to keep me alive. Colon cancer screening and Prostate cancer screening are just part of modern medicine. Age is not considered.
They are interchangeable. Someone else is calling the shots. Her un-likability may make some moderates re-evaluate their choices.
Biden’s weapon of ass destruction gets an inspection.
BUT, my doctor said that once over seventy years old they are no longer required.

My husband had one years ago, and while I stood next to him as he woke up, the 85 year old woman lying on the gurney next to him fell off!!!!
So why now...He MUST be having some problems.

Harris could be president (briefly) but they have successfully demonized her recently and I imagine some “crazy right winger” from San Francisco or Boston will assassinate her almost immediately.
Then we get Pelosi as president. She quickly picks Hillary as VP and then steps down.
I have known several elderly people who went under anesthesia for minor surgery and developed dementia immediately afterwards.
