Is a high-profile confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill on the horizon? On Tuesday night, Fox News’ Jesse Watters reported that Fox News congressional correspondent Chad Pergram “has been hearing whispers suggesting there could be some new, high-profile confirmation hearings on the horizon in the House of Representatives.”
“Why is this a big deal? Because the House does not confirm normal nominees, but it does confirm vice presidential nominees. Does this have something to do with Kamala Harris?” Watters pondered.
Recent reports have suggested there’s a lot of tension and dysfunction behind the scenes in the White House. Kamala Harris isn’t happy with the role she’s been asked to play and her allies are accusing Biden of racism for favoring Transportation Secretary Buttigieg over her .
“There’s a lot of conjecture right now about the future of VP Harris and her lagging poll numbers,” Pergram told Watters. “As you know, I appreciate Congressional process and mechanics. So I got a message recently from someone who knows Capitol Hill very well, and they suggested that I should familiarize myself with the process to confirm a vacancy for the Vice President in the Senate and in the House.”
The last vice president to be confirmed by Congress was Norman Rockefeller after Gerald Ford became president following Richard Nixon’s resignation. Ford himself was confirmed by Congress to be Nixon’s vice president when he filled the vacancy left by Vice President Spiro Agnew.

I am willing to bet, at least a 6 pack, that Harris is just as compromised as the rest of the swamp.

I just can’t imagine it. Harris knows she moves up to the big seat, or she goes nowhere politically… ever. If she holds out she has, I’d say, at least a 50% chance of succeeding to the presidency before 2024. Why would she leave?
There is no way the Democrats would ever replace a Woman of Color, unless it is with another woman of color or she is appointed to the Supreme Court.

I don’t want to defend her, but she is doing what a Vice President is elected to do. NOTHING! The blame for all the chaos falls on Biden and his handlers. But if they want to take out their frustrations on Kammy, um, ok. Have fun guys. Recently bought some more popcorn.
If Harris leaves and her replacement takes over for Biden, that means the House will decide who is POTUS and VPOTUS in the same term.

VP Harris was elected so the only way she leaves office is if she dies, resigns of is impeached. She’s healthy so she is not about to die. No one is talking impeachment so that leaves a bribery. I think it would take a really good bribe to get her to resign.
There is talk about a SC seat but I seriously doubt she could get 60 votes in the Senate.
What about seeking it from a different perspective. Perhaps it’s Biden who is stepping down?
Or possibly Biden is going and when talking about a vacancy and preparing for hearings, they are referring to whoever Harris would appoint as her VP.

Biden poops his pants on live TV and gets removed, Before the VP is selected.
Pelosi is next in line.
She appoints Hillary as VP.
She decides not to run for reelection, So Hillary is at the top of the ticket.
They actually do make up charges against Trump, And Jail him.
Since they are now in control of everything, The Election is guaranteed for Hillary.

I agree. Biden is going down. He is senile, incompetent, and dangerous for the future of the dems and the threat of removal by Congress IAW the Constitution. Harris will move up and become the first black female to hold the office of President. Bootie jug will be the first queer VP. What a country! God bless America.

To me the stars are starting to line up to get rid of Biden. Just not sure who is going to fill the VP's slot who then go on to become the next President most likely. If these rumors prove to be true then we all best be buckled up tight for the road ahead is going to be bumpy.
