President Biden on Thursday laid a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and commemorated Veterans Day with a speech hailing the “unrelenting bravery and dedication” of America’s service members, including his late son Beau and the recently deceased Colin Powell and former Sen. Max Cleland.
On the 100th anniversary of the tomb’s dedication, Biden spoke of his friendships with Powell and Cleland and how his own family understood the experience of veterans through his late son’s deployments.

The original tomb was dedicated in 1922 not quite 100 years.
TBH Memorial Day and Veterans Day should be swapped, with Veterans Day being the 4th Monday in May and Memorial Day taking up November 11th.

Imagine if Donald Trump had a grandkid that he didn’t acknowledge?
Biden doesn’t even count him as a grandkid, neither does Jill.
Just imagine Donald Trump doing that?
We’d all know the kid’s name and what he ate for breakfast.
.
Wasn’t Beau just a lawyer during his service?
He and his liberal handlers don’t know the difference.
Still riding his dead kid for political gain. What a prince.
Yes, what you said. Memorial Day is for deceased veterans.
Folks don’t even know who we fought in WW2 anymore.
Didn’t mention Hunter? He was a Navy crackhead....
His old reliable “resurrection ruse” when in trouble.
Biden’s popularity continues to decline, with more Americans opposed to the Democratic commander-in-chief seeking another term in 2024..........
Biden dragging out Beau’s body..... using the poor dead guy to get votes.
I’m sure Biden grieves for his dead son, upon whom he pinned his hopes ...... grooming Beau to carry on the Biden political dynasty.
Especially b/c Hunter turned out to be a huge political liability.......a bigger no-go than his own father.
But Biden trading on his grief for votes is beyond the pale.
Here’s a link to the history of the TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIIER ...
