Former US Secretary of State Colin Powell died on Monday of Covid-19 complications. His family announced that he was fully vaccinated. He was 84 years old, and had multiple myeloma, a blood cancer.
Health officials worry that anti-vaccine activists will seize upon Powell's death to make the claim that vaccines don't work. If you can still die after being vaccinated for Covid-19, what's the point of getting the vaccine?
CNN: When we see vaccinated people dying from Covid-19, how do you explain that vaccines are still worth taking?
Dr. Leana Wen: We need to start with the science and what the research shows. The Covid-19 vaccines are extraordinarily effective in preventing illness and especially severe disease. The most recent data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that they reduce the likelihood of testing positive for Covid-19 by six-fold and the likelihood of death by 11-fold.
That means that if you are vaccinated, you are six times less likely to get Covid-19 than someone who's unvaccinated. And you are 11 times less likely to die from Covid-19 compared to an unvaccinated person. That's really excellent.

I'd like to know how they quantify that.
COVID can be asymptomatic -- you don't know you have it until a test tells you that you have it. Or you could be sick at home. Or hospitalized. Or COVID can kill you. Or you can be a long hauler.

How do you calculate that? Your unvaccinated neighbor gets COVID and is sick at home for a week. You are vaccinated and you are sick at home for a week. WHEW! You dodged a bullet!!! Had you not been vaccinated, you probably would have died!!!!
Answer: Because the jab was never about controlling COVID. It’s about controlling people.

Multiple myeloma is a terminal cancer. A common cold would have taken out any 84 year old under these conditions.

The CDC announced months ago that people who have been fully vaccinated don’t need to be tested regularly.
And we are seeing that the unvaccinated are required to be tested for various purposes to show a negative test in order to be allowed to participate in various activities.
If the unvaccinated are being tested more often than the vaccinated, it’s no wonder they are showing up to a greater extent in the positive test count.
Other analyses indicate that the vaccinated can transmit the virus to other people just as easily as the unvaccinated, such as in the outbreak the CDC studied in Barnstable Co Mass. in early July.
I’m 72, have 5 co-morbidities, but got the first two shots back in March, and the “booster” just two weeks ago. I do what’s right for me, don’t preach to anyone, and you can do what’s right for you. Deal?
I took the second Pfizer shot in early March. At the time I was “fully vaccinated” - 95% effective. Now just 6 months later, I read the jabs last 2-5 months and a booster is needed. Oh, and they want me to put the mask back on and want my grandkids to take the “vaccine”.
These hacks were guessing back in March, and they’re still guessing today.
I guess we’re on the “Spin Cycle” now.
No, that’s not excellent. Not close. Even if those numbers were true it would be the least effective vaccine ever approved by the FDA. And this is for a condition which has a 99% survival rate. Given that there are serious side effects, it’s crazy to deny anyone the ability to opt out on this vaccine.
The “science” is fake because the data categories are in the hands of politicians. Corrupt data: corrupt science.

Remember how we had all the breakthrough cases of smallpox and mumps and deep theory and measles and polio when all of those vaccines didn’t work right?

The vaccine ID’s the Covid 19 virus and neutralizes it. However, these vaxxed people aren’t dying of covid but some other variant that their now compromised immune system can’t recognize and has probably created in their bodies, perhaps?
They called the summer spikes - Delta spikes.
The big question for these folks is, what other diseases can sicken the body due to a permanently altered immune system?
A naturally immune system will recognize the variant’s similarity to the already identified Covid 19 and zap it.

I’m sure most of us that question the vax would be mare than satisfied with that deal. Unfortunately the vax is being forced on us, and that is the issue.
That being said, it would be helpful if real research and results were provided instead of this current situation of lies, deceit, and fear mongering.

You can’t sell that one because if they were effective, people wouldn’t be getting sick with Covid in the first place.
