Network prompts kids to blame Fox News star for dad's COVID death

A CNN interviewer has prompted two teens who lost their father to COVID-19 to blame Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson for his death.

Because of "misinformation."

The claim made by Katie and Evan Lane about information their father, Patrick Lane, 45, obtained came in an interview with John Berman, a program host for the far-left network.

Berman brought up, a second time, the issue of "misinformation" that purportedly led to Lane's death, according to a report at the Blaze.

He addressed them with, "Katie, you said [there was misinformation] from one media source, in particular, he was getting misinformation – he was getting information that led him to be hesitant on vaccines. Who? Who was he listening to?"

She responded, "He watched some Tucker Carlson videos on YouTube, and some of those videos involved some misinformation about vaccines, and I believe that that played a role."

Evan said his father was waiting for the Food and Drug Administration to grant full approval to the vaccine, the report explained.

"He claimed that if his father were alive now, he wouldn't have any issues with getting the vaccine or advising others to do the same," the report said.

Patrick Lane, whose health reportedly was good and who had no underlying conditions, died from COVID late last month, the report said.

The two told CNN their father was not an "anti-vaxxer," but "was hesitant about getting the vaccine due to reporting he came across from right-wing media outlets," the Blaze reported.

Katie explained her father's decision against the experimental vaccines now being offered, "There's multiple reasons, I think. One of which was some of the media that he ingested. He wasn't by any means far-right. He was right in the middle, and he consumed media from both sides, ....

One persons misinformation is another persons truth and vice versa.

Misinformation - Anything you see or hear that doesn’t fit your world view.

Tucker Carlson has stated that he is vaccinated many times on his program.

Almost all the medical experts on his show have also been vaccinated.

Tuckers consistent message has always been that there are valid reasons to not get vaccinated, and that all Americans must have the freedom to make up their own minds without government coercion.

If “misinformation” were a crime, then CNN headquarters should be razed as a public health threat.

More than that should happen to those who work for that firm and its facilities. I can not begin to describe what I think about CNN.

"I can not begin to describe what I think about CNN."

I can. They have been a mouthpiece for the Deep State for a long time, and the harm they've helped cause to the US is terrible.
At least Goebbels did the "honorable thing" when the Allies were closing in on Berlin.

Fox won a lawsuit claiming no reasonable person believes Tucker

A similar tactic that Sidney Powell is trying.

Why not blame it on President Biden or VP Harris for saying “Don’t trust a Trump vaccine!”

I don’t know about the Fox lawsuit you mentioned but Rachel Maddow and made that argument in defense to a lawsuit that her saying something was “literally” true was an exaggeration and no one would take her claim seriously

Unfortunately we have people today who either really believe, or pretend they believe that sentences uttered by other people should be interpreted like a crude computer program would interpret them. So instead of recognizing sarcasm, hyperbole, figures of speech, jokes and the like these people take the sentences out of context and totally literally, or at least they pretend they do.

Its a technique started by leftists to attack their opponents and it has morphed into the kinds of attacks made in these lawsuits.

Why not blame it on President Biden or VP Harris for saying “Don’t trust a Trump vaccine!”

Or the Chinese government, who failed to contain the outbreak to Wuhan. It is strange that the angry victims always attack conservative Americans, but not the organization whose failure created the problem and killed millions of people.

Looks like another case of doctors not treating a patient with medications that have been shown to be effective at combating covid.

Instead this poor man’s woke children are blaming a talk show host who has never said what to do one way or another when it comes to covid. Also no mention if this man was obese and when it comes to covid, that is the number one predictor if it’s going to be a serious illness or not.
