Kathy Griffin revealed she has lung cancer despite “never” smoking and will be undergoing surgery to have half of her left lung removed.
The comedian announced the news Monday morning in a lengthy note posted to social media, sharing that the cancer is stage 1 and “contained.”
“I’ve got to tell you guys something. I have cancer. I’m about to go into surgery to have half of my left lung removed,” she began her letter on social media. “Yes, I have lung cancer even though I’ve never smoked! The doctors are very optimistic as it is stage one and contained to my left lung.”
Griffin, 60, said she’s hopeful that she won’t need to get chemotherapy or radiation treatment after the surgery and “should have normal function with my breathing.”

Kathy Griffin Takes Back Apology “1000 Percent” for Holding Decapitated Head of President Trump

Many, many years ago, way before the Internet, I remember seeing a cartoon in a magazine of some sort where a group of frowning people were walking around with little rain clouds over their heads, drizzling on them.
A guy without a cloud over his head stopped one of them and said, “Let me guess: You’re a Liberal.”...........
Probably happening even as we speak..................
Yah, radon is a natural “out-gassing” of granite. Probably other stones, too.
Most carcinogens occur naturally and are abundant. Fretting about exposure is just silly.
You do realize that the human body is radioactive, too, dont’cha?
Lastly, low level routine radioactive exposure has been shown to kill most biological pathogens. Radiation, if ionizing, preferentially damages cells that rapidly change — like bugs.
Go hug a mountain, and kill some WuhanFlu buggies.
Yep!
If there’s a link between good and bad people.. Sociopaths vs standard and cancer rates, that would be interesting. I’m just not that big on ‘blaming the victim’ especially with disease, unless they drink or smoke or something like that.
The filthy woman is a molecule in the evil treacherous democrat machine that is destroying the country. Think of her when you see the tens of thousands of new democrat voters pouring across the border, pipeline closures, gas prices, inflation, gun control, deliberate racial strife, crime, higher taxes etc then reevaluate your position.
Hatred negatively impacts the nervous system, immune system, and endocrine system. Extreme emotions trigger the release of stress hormones in the brain. Over time, these stress hormones lead to increased inflammation throughout the body, resulting in significant health consequences.

If I said it once I said it a million times: KARMA is real!
Admirably well said. It’s not exactly what I was thinking.
Still, however, I just can’t understand what it is about celebs feeling the need tell everyone in the world about their medical/mental problems.
I wouldn’t wish cancer on my worst enemy. Demonic damn disease.
She has a twitter account even though she has made threats against President Trump.
Prayers up.
Stay classy, Kathy.
As a comedian she spent a lot of time in nightclubs with a lot of smoke.
The problem is usually not that the person did something bad. They are usually innocent
. They just blame themselves.
For example, children blame themselves when parents fight.
Recently I was doing research on the consciousness patterns of a woman with breast cancer.
Without her saying a word, I reached into her soul and asked her why she was blaming herself for her elderly mother’s death three years ago.
She replied, “Because my Jewish mother told me it was my responsibility to keep her alive.”
When I touch the stored memory that is anchored in the physical body and is creating the predisposition to cancer, it pushes the person’s physical body to the left, often knocking them off their feet even though I am several feet away from them.
I’ve found this in 100% of the many dozens of people with cancer I have worked with over the past few years.
