Sad!

>>>>New Poll More Texas voters say they’d pick McConaughey over Abbott for governor

From THEHILL.COM
More Texas voters said in a new poll that they would back Matthew McConaughey over Gov. Greg Abbott (R) at the ballot box if the actor were to run for the state’s leading office.

In new poll released by The Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler on Sunday, 45 percent of registered voters in the state said they would likely to support the actor if he ran for governor.

By contrast, 33 percent of voters said they would still vote for Abbott while slightly less than a quarter of respondents said they would vote for someone else.

While it’s unclear which party the actor aligns with politically, McConaughey enjoyed more support from Democratic-identifying voters in the poll than Abbott, with 66 percent of respondents within the group saying they would vote for the Academy Award winner.

Abbott drew more backing from voters that identified as Republicans than McConaughey, with 56 percent of voters from the group saying they would still support the governor if the actor were to run.<<<<<<<<<<<

Gun violence will be defeated by constitutional carry.

Pull out a heater to cause harm to the innocents... prepare to be suitably ventilated.

Let me guess. Give up your guns and let in millions of illegals. Reimagine police and release criminals.

These pr*cks from tinsel town had better look in the mirror. A whole lot of whats going on is the result of the violence shown in their “OH SO GREAT” movies.

Not uncommon to see heads chopped off, brains blown out, guts slit out of humans on the TV now days.

What we overlook: a Progressive axiom is “crime is not a thing; the only crime is impeding The Revolution”.
The two sides don’t agree over that, and don’t see what view the other holds.
Progressives only see “gun owners” as a whole, defined by owning guns (only those using guns to facilitate The Revolution are allowed).
Conservatives see “gun owners” as split into criminals (using guns as a tool for crimes) vs law abiding (who use guns as a tool to stop crime).

Can’t have a conversation until Progressives accept good people with guns aren’t criminals.

"At a 0.005% rate, it’s not the guns, and it’s not the gun owners.

Why do they blame the driver of a car or the pilot of a plane or the captain of a boat in an accident but blame the gun in a shooting and not the shooter.

Let Matthew McConaughey can explain how guns aren't violent but criminals are.

Matthew McConaughey can also explain how much money he made in movies glorifying violence using a firearm and how he's going to pay back the money he earned making those movies as well as buy up the rights to them to prevent them from being broadcast.

This hypocrite lies in order to make money, both in the movies and in real life.

“In the 18th century, “well-regulated” meant “well trained.”

Israel has a well regulated Defense Force, and its citizens are well trained and armed and participate actively until they’re 40 something. That is well regulated. Americans would never accept that.... but what if it came to that to maintain the Republic?

Talk about your side firs Matt. Every damn movie and video game involves guns and murder. Your ilk on the left coast that don’t allow guns are contaminating society with gun violence.you want to tske my gun? I say 100% ban on Hollywood making motion pictures glorifying gun violence. It would go bancrupt in a week.
