A prominent, longtime Columbus lobbyist facing a charge in the federal bribery probe into the passage of House Bill 6 has died.
Neil Clark was found dead with a wound to his head at 11:32 a.m. on Monday near Naples, Florida, according to an incident report from the sheriff’s office in Collier County, Florida. Michelle Batten, a sheriff’s spokeswoman, in a Tuesday afternoon email confirmed Clark had died.
The report, redacted of identifying information but associated with Clark’s Florida home, said a handgun was recovered from the scene as evidence. The Naples Daily News reported a passing bicyclist called police, who said it didn’t appear to be a suspicious death. An investigator for the local medical examiner’s office said an investigation is underway....
Clark has said he was working on a tell-all book detailing stories from his decades-long career as a lobbyist. He told a reporter last month the book was nearing publication....

For your consideration.
Arkancide?
[He told a reporter last month the book was nearing publication]
Uh oh.
Hillary’d?
It appears he took the same path as Vince Foster except he remained at home—probably because of the covid thing.
a handgun was recovered from the scene as evidence that will surely and conveniently get lost, they found his left hand print on the gun, he was a righty. What’s in the book?
Well, Vince Foster’s death was also said (and ruled) to be a
suspicious death. Seth Rich, Jerry Parks, Danny Casalaro,
Jim McDougal. (many others)
Just a bunch of unfortunate events...
Another swig of the old arkan cider.
At least his car didn’t start driving itself and explode.
There hasn’t been this many deaths of reporters and political insiders since the Kennedy murder in 1963.
snitches get their heads bashed in.
Yes, I remember.

I’ve been very skeptical, if not cynical of conspiracy theories for years. Ever since the Clinton’s, there’s been too many instances of “things that make you go HMMMM”. Granted the Clintons have been involved in politics for 50+years. They’ve personally knew thousands of people. It makes sense many have passed away over time. And given the high pressure, competitive cutthroat dog eat dog ways of politics it’s plausible quite a few died prematurely, from medical conditions aggravated by the nature of the beast, substance abuse, accidents, even in a few cases suicides and in even fewer cases foul play. But for so many to die under such strange circumstances? Like John Ashe, a barbell fell on his head??!? That one sounded like a Columbo episode, or an old 3 Stooges routine but this is no laughing matter.
Nothing suspicious about a hole in the head.
Probably just a coincidence.
I’m sure the tell-all book would have had nothing damning to any political figure(s) still alive.
