The U.S. economy is out-performing expectations on almost every front.
Friday’s release of the employment situation in the U.S. is just the latest data point showing that the U.S. economy is growing at a much faster pace than anticipated. The economy added 379,000 jobs in February, the Department of Labor said. January’s figure, which was initially reported as a very weak 49,000, was revised up to 166,000. Combined with smaller job losses in December, it’s clear the labor market is in far better shape than forecast.
It’s not just jobs. Factory orders rose by 2.6 percent in January, topping the estimate for a 2 percent rise. December was revised up from 1.1 percent to 1.6 percent. Construction spending grew by 1.7 percent in January and an upwardly revised 1.1 percent in December. It’s up 5.8 percent for the year.
The Institute for Supply Management’s manufacturing index points to better growth than expected. Retail sales are rising.
In short, the economic picture has failed to live up to the “dark winter” that President Joe Biden said America was facing.

Biteme will take credit - watch.
I’m sure the media will get right on this.
Just because Biden hasn’t completely destroyed the economy yet,
this is no time to think Trump saved our butts.
Democrats simply cannot fathom economics. The economy is already
under attack on the energy front. Biden will find a way to
muck up far more than that.
Biden and gang will take credit just like 0bama did with Bush; Biden then would blame Trump when things go bad.
Joe and the Ho will redouble their effort to kill it.
It's strong now? Biden gets credit.
In six months it's tanking? They'll blame Trump.
Don’t blame Biden. He is trying to destroy the American economy as fast as he can. It will just take time to reverse all the good Trump has done for America.
Great graphic...
There! Fixed it.
Yep.
My gas and electric bills just jumped A LOT this month (each by about $30) and I am now seeing $2.90-$3:00 per gallon at the pump.
Stolen Elections have consequences.
Agreed, especially with his reversal of regulatory policies that Trump reduced.
Also, I don't understand how the numbers are so good with the thousands of small businesses closed permanently. I don't see any new businesses opening in my area. The for lease signs are everywhere.
Imagine where we’d be if President Trump hadn’t been hog-tied by other ‘Republicans’ for four years!
It still makes my head spin what that man accomplished for us!
Of course, it’ll all be undone under Socialist Democrat-One Party Rule, but it was beautiful to behold! :)
Biden’s busy destroying it, so enjoy it being “good” while it lasts. Bills/costs are up, investments are down. It’s going to be a rollercoaster ride, so hang on.
Obama was trying to take credit for Trump’s economy.... right until COVID - then it was all Trump’s fault!
After this virus situation there’s nowhere to go but up for job numbers. All he has to do is sit back looking dumbfounded to get credit.
Perfect.
Imagine where we’d be if President Trump hadn’t been hog-tied by other ‘Republicans’ for four years!

I have and that’s what really frosts me.
I hear ya.
I have a four by four that gets about 25 mpg around town, and
34.34 on the long haul. (hybrid)
It’s a Mercury Mariner. I’ll be driving it more, but I am also in the market for a used electric.
Hey, it is what it is.
