Yep, it’s a nice clear statement with strong arguments. Any person can read it and understand it, and I think most people would find it persuasive. My takeaway is that Trump’s legal team has placed him on solid ground here and set him up to prevail in this clown show.

What I see happening here is, a lot of members of congress had better think LOOONNNG and hard about being part of this because if they persist, they could find the whole affair in front of a friendly court, after this is over, where the Trump team can start digging into the whole affair..discovery.
Then he can submit evidence to a JURY, where the crimes were committed and who committed them.
This would take years though, and I dont think this republic has years left. I believe it has months left and that is it.

Kudos to Castor, Schoen, and their team. This is very well done.
Also, I think this confirms one of two things. Either (1) the earlier reports about why Trump and his first team parted ways was BS, or (2) Castor and Schoen, or someone, talked some sense into him. It’s pretty clear they don’t plan to relitigate the 2020 election in this trial, which is the right move.

Congress knows Trump is a legitimate president. And to convict him of impeachment is the only legal way out.
