Gab.com, the free speech friendly social network, says traffic has increased by more than 750 percent in the past few days, following the blacklisting of President Donald Trump from most mainstream tech platforms.
“Our traffic is up 753% in the past 24 hours. Tens of millions of visits,” said Gab in response to a question about slow loading speeds.

Ah...no wonder it went into terminal spin mode for me this a.m.
I joined GAB before I joined Parler. Hopefully one of them will be up at any given time.
Last night, I was on briefly (first time in 2-3 years) and it was REALLY, REALLY S-L-O-W
Found out about GAB from a fellow Freepers post....it is driven by “trends” supposedly . The comment’s list all as dissenters...thats pretty good...you can pretty much say what you want....with fewer alternatives for exspressing ones view it is becoming the last bastion of free speech beyond Free Republic.
I joined gab today. It took a few tries, well worth the effort.
Cancelled my Twitter account. I didn’t use it ever, had only 5 posts there. Mostly I just read the Donald’s page.
The Donald is on Gab. A good way to stay in touch with the President.
Yeah...its real slow right now.
Likely to only get worse!
Wow!
It’s not loading at all now...
Loading OK for me. Odd.
So when do their servers take them offline too like parler
“..So when do their servers take them offline too like parler...”
GAB has already painfully been thru all that hosting BS a couple of years back. It took em awhile to rebuild the site and purchase their own servers to avoid just what happened to Parler. I guess communists could just censor the whole darn internet like they do in China now.
Gab has its own servers, which explains capacity problems, but they cant be cut off on the server side.
Parler used the Amazon Cloud for its server capacity.
Gab could still be shut down by their ISP if it comes to that.
The fix would be changing ISP, if any US ISP will do it. Otherwise they will need offshore backups.
They’ve got their own servers. Parler relied on Amazon cloud servers.
We had some power outages across the Twilight Zone today, May be a factor..
For us, we must attack, attack, attack
Find weakness and attack, attack
Disregard the front. Seek the deserted flanks
better have their own diesel/NG generators as well
