Gab.com, the free speech friendly social network, says traffic has increased by more than 750 percent in the past few days, following the blacklisting of President Donald Trump from most mainstream tech platforms.
“Our traffic is up 753% in the past 24 hours. Tens of millions of visits,” said Gab in response to a question about slow loading speeds.
The free speech network announced that it would bring ten new servers online to handle the increased traffic volume.

The best thing that can happen is to convince yourself otherwise.
The problem is that Gab no longer works for many people. This traffic has killed it dead.
I did today. Was very easy unlike Parlor and is in full mode. If you saw the GAB CEO video. Very credible and smart, developing over the last few years their own server and now pulling high tech “techies” who are fed up about the censoring.
I moved to Gab. It’s a little slugush at times, probably because of the twatter/FakeBook exodus.

They tried destroying Gab two years ago. Gab overcame it. Parler will figure it out.

I did not know Gab had its own phone and browser, Dissenter.
They host their own servers. It looks like they have been setting up defenses to prevent censorship.

I have read elsewhere that Parler was de-platformed by Amazon. As of this post, Parler is still up.
Gab is hammered. Will take this a few days to adjust.
We have app providers and app hosts getting in the censorship game. Will ISP’s join in?
Did Amazon open the door to anti-trust lawsuits by targeting Parler?

I left GAB because every other post was anti-Semite. I’m not a Jew, but the harassment got out of control. Just my personal experience 2 years ago.
