What’s stupid is anyone who cares about polls.

It certainly isn’t good. I cannot believe that there are people who actually believe that Biden would make a good President.

I can’t believe there are people that believe Biden is actually going to be President. Even if elected, he is maybe good for a year and then the first woman president takes office.

Why didn’t he wait to be released. Perception is everything. He is making some silly decisions that can hurt him.

There is only one poll that will count that is election day, Nov. 3.

Trump didn’t help himself in that debate. That turned a lot of people off.

I wonder if he was already coming down with covid, just the first symptoms, feeling out-of-sorts, tired, short-tempered? That could explain his harsh reaction to Biden and Wallace after being baited by their "gotcha" questions.

This year, unlike year’s in the past, have not heard a single person mention a poll. Unless a person is a total moron, we’ve all been duped enough by this polling to know that it’s not accurate. Even the left knows that these polls are wildly inaccurate and even they don’t like it. The left feels these fake polls makes their side complacent.

They can be akin to readings of temperature and wind speeds, though less scientific. Is the weather news?

What we need to be watching is Trump’s and his family’s messaging and whether he is panicked. That’s the real gauge. But I will tell you, I knew the damned Covid dx was a terrible development. The country got scared all over again (if Trump can catch it, so can I), and all the economic and foreign policy successes are now behind Covid. It also shows that Trump’s Covid response was a failure since he caught it.

As I wrote I think yesterday, Trump needs a giant shoe to drop in his favor immediately. I do not know why this is not why this is not possible. He almost needs a Korean peninsular/US peace deal or indictments against Biden’s son.

If not, I’m sorry to say, we need to continue to back Trump but focus on getting Coney to the court.

Leaving WRMC for the white house was a silly decision? Are you nuts?

So, what is the purpose of a poll? They are not accurate. If 2016 hasn’t opened anyone’s eyes, it’s useless. Polls are for sheep.

If Biden had a true 12 point lead, or even a substantial lead, he wouldn’t be campaigning in Minnesota and PA, and Trump wouldn’t have pulled his ads out of Iowa and Ohio.

Polls are snapshot in time. All that is true. But the polling may have changed dramatically, albeit temporarily, because of the perception Trump isn't taking Covid seriously after he took the joyride while in the hospital.

The only thing I can think of is for some reason Trump testing positive for the virus caused him to take a hit in the polls. Which would mean he could gain those 12 points back quickly if he shows he’s fully recovered and back on the campaign trail and ready to debate again.

I posted about this polling over a week ago. For whatever reason it had PDT taking 5-point hit after nominating ACB, with his support dropping down to like 79% among R’s. I didn’t get it then, and I don’t get it now. It makes no sense. From there he just slid to -8. and now -12.

I know, that’s the intent, and if my fellow citizens weren’t so gosh darn stupid, I wouldn’t be so concerned.

Bingo. Americans ARE stupid; especially the women.

2016 General Election - Clinton 43%, Trump 39% (Rasmussen Reports 10/9-10/11/16)

How do they have Biden up 12%

“Trump didn’t help himself in that debate. That turned a lot of people off.”

Totally agree. I thought he was pretty awful, plus Trump’s campaign messaging is a wandering mess. He needs to tighten the hell up!

not a chance.
even most (not all) of the leftwingers we know are decided to skip voting for President/VP this year. A few are voting for PDJT, the rest are just not voting for these offices due to their extreme disappointment with Biden and how they do despise the (ineligible) Harris.

Also of note is that fact that Biden has only been able to attract 5 or 10 people to most of his “rallies” (apparently these are the Secret Service guards who have to be there of course) whereas PDJT keeps getting thousands of avid supporters at his.

And Biden’s team knows Trump will be on his game at the debate so that is why Biden’s team is looking for a way out now.
