BS! Trump’s fight won the night. Ad Hominem Biden attacks on Trump score no points.
Independents tuned out in the first 5 minutes and everyone left watching wasn’t persuadable.
Going to go down as a waste of time for everyone.
I sincerely believe both sides will say they won when the truth is they both lost unless this was the plan of one of them.
Was this the plan hatched by Biden’s team, he didn’t want to debate and likely will try to use this as an engineered excuse to not engage further in debates.
Hopefully the polls will say no.
It was a terrible debate that will be quickly forgotten. Tomorrow Joe will be in his basement, Trump will have a huge rally and the MSM will be talking about the SCOTUS confirmation.
I’d say Chris Wallace won that debate and he was clearly on team Biden.

Who at this point is undecided? Nobody is undecided. Only a blithering idiot could be undecided.
So, Trump was Trump. Wallace was Wallace. Biden was Biden. I think our President knew exactly how this was going to turn out. I believe that this played as he intended.
The aim is not to win the debate. It’s to win the election. Biden said a fair number of things tonight that will come back to haunt him big time, such as “Antifa is just an idea.” (Repeated several times.) Trump destroyed Biden on Hunter Biden (who Joe confused with Beau). And so forth.
Trump was “too pugilistic.” But when has that hurt him long term?
I predict that Biden will cancel his last debate. This is the only 90 minutes of the entire general campaign that we will see him take questions. It is the only time that Biden will come untethered from his teleprompter. And so I ask others here to imagine the voter who was undecided going into this debate. They may recoil from what they saw of PDJT tonight. But was it much of a surprise? And are they really going to go into the voting booth on election day and risk putting Biden into office through 2024?
Trump hurt himself tonight short term. He may have helped himself win the election.
As for Biden, this debate SHOULD force him toward the center, as he tries to correct for some serious problems in his own debate performance tonight. He looked bad bad bad on Hunter Biden, on law and order, on Antifa. He did not once repudiate the left even a little bit. He did not decline to pack the Supreme Court or to end the filibuster. Trump will pound him on these things. I predict that rather than correct for these, Biden instead goes back into his basement and tries to say nothing, thinking that his lead now is insurmountable. This, I predict, will be his undoing.
I still predict a Trump victory, even though I think in the next few days that his poll numbers will suffer and even though the election seems to me to be Biden’s to lose. I just can’t get over how often the Dems are intent on losing. It’s the President’s ace in the hole.

You are correct. Wallace must pay a price for this. Reviews of the debate will show him actually interrupting Trump and debating him! He just sat there and let Biden talk uninterrupted. He proved himself to be a certified leftist and anti-Trumper.
Speaking of Churchill—I was thinking this earlier, even before this debate: if the United States fails to re-elect Trump, it will be like England failing to re-elect Churchill.
Wallace lost control of moderating the debate from the beginning.
Most important response for me was near the end regarding the results of the elections. Trump said that he would abide by the elections unless voter fraud was rampant. He might then declare the elections invalid (my paraphrase). Biden almost responded, I was expecting him to say I will have the military throw you out.
Trump won by tripping Biden a few times and getting him to disown liberal covenants.
And ANOTHER Dem troll surfaces.

I sat through about 4 “sections” until I’d had enough. I felt like yelling “Mommy, make them stop!”
I felt like Trump blew about 4-5 layups but it was hard to sit through all the crosstalk. Two northeasterners showing all the manners of northeasterners.
Good that Trump got Biden on the record denying Hunter Biden’s payments. Now, he can just bring forward the evidence.
Trump knows all about optics and branding. How he agreed to this crap-show of a moderator is beyond me!
And Never-Trumper Wallace is the least hostile debate "moderator" this year. It only goes down from here....
Trump is a street fighter. He makes direct hits, there’s no fluffy crap. He controlled the debate, no question. Wallace and Biden tried - tag team actually - but just couldn’t pull it off tonight.
